Hotel Emblem San Francisco

The employees were very friendly and the location was perfect.

Charming hotel, great locations. Fun and unusual amenities. A great fit for the history and soul of San Francisco. Will definitely return.

We can't say enough great things about this gem of a hotel! We just had our second stay at Hotel Emblem and I think it's safe to say we've found our home away from home in SF. The bar, front desk, housekeeping, rooms, location and amenities are perfect for us. It's quirky and fun, kind and accommodating, small and accessible. I can open a window in my room to feel the breeze, sleep soundly with their white noise machine, shower with strong water pressure, stream a movie from the big tv, make coffee in my room or have it delivered along with a pain au chocolate from their coffee shop 5 minutes later. I can walk to great restaurants and bars and comedy clubs. I can order an expertly crafted cocktail in their beautiful lobby bar, borrow a bike, type a letter. And no matter what, I will always be greeted with a smile from the staff.

Andy was super helpful. Great hotel staff and location; attached to a really good coffee shop. Close to cable cars.

Quiet

Definitely a go-to spot in the city! We loved the awesome staff & great vibe of the Emblem. Only wish it could’ve been a longer stay. Decor is fantastic, everything is very clean, beds are comfortable, and the coffee shop in the lobby means you can get the first cup without leaving.

A lovely boutique hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and a perfect location. The management is truly the best- personal and personable!

The hotel space was small but what you expect from a city hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights, and had a great experience. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Don't forget to request to rent record player and/or type writer. There's a pool table next to the bar that we used one evening.

We did not feel unsafe walking around the hotel, and there are plenty of places to go. For Simpson's fan, there's a bar next door called "Mo's Tavern"... Get the "Flaming Mo's" drink :)

Nice location in the city. Plenty of restaurants and cable cars walkable. Short uber ride to everything else. Great stay

Amenities were cool

The hotel, location and everything about it was great! We will be back next time we are in SF! I slept like a baby while I was there!

I had a lovely stay at the hotel Emblem last week. Location is central, 10-15 minute walk to Market street and MOMA. Hotel has a bar, coffee/bakery and there is a diner a couple of doors down. The reception staff was pleasant, helpful and attentive much better than some of the large chain hotel staff. A special shout out to Cora who was very considerate. The system was down at check in so Cora accompanied me to my room to let me settle in instead of waiting around in the lobby. My King room on the 6th floor was smallish but well furnished, clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!
