The staff is awesome!
Pros:

Stayed here for one night while visiting SF for a film festival and the staff was beyond warm and kind! A gentleman at the front desk (I believe his name was Orlando), upon finding out I was visiting for having a film at the film festival - was kind enough to surprise us with a bottle of champagne in our room! It was such a sweet and kind gesture that really moved us. This is a beautiful and very secure hotel that you can tell is maintained with such warmth, care and good vibes. The staff is all so friendly with a great attitude - and I only wish I would’ve brought my swimsuit - the pool area looked like so much fun! I’ll definitely be back! 🤗

Cons:

The area is a little sketchy but the hotel is very secure and the great staff makes up for it! 💜

Cards weren’t working so we had to rely on someone being at the door to let us in which wasn’t always available.

Great hotel, location a little iffy but a good base to enable you to explore the city
Pros:

Quirky, cool, retro vibe. Staff very friendly

Cons:

The area is not the best, you certainly wouldn’t want to walk the streets at night time but we never felt unsafe whilst at the property

We stay in a lot of hotels- this one tops them all. A MUST stay stop if you’re in San Francisco!

Cool vibes, nice staff, older rooms could use some updates & soundproofing.
Pros:

Outdoor area is very nice! Location is decent if you’re in town for work.

Cons:

Location is not awesome if you’re visiting on a weekend, it’s definitely better suited for weekday visits as some of the more appealing restaurants are closed on weekends. Room was clean, but definitely older & fixtures could use some updates, & street & neighbor noise was easily heard throughout the night.
