shoutout to the day manager who approved my late checkout although hotel was fully booked.
Pros:

Meticulously cleaned & maintained rooms &common areas … the highlight for me was the shower- easily the best fittings >> highest water pressure you will ever experience in your life !! Enjoy !

Great location and beautiful room but smell was so bad it woke me up at night and had me worried it would make me sick.

Cons:

The room smelt terrible and the smell remained on my clothing once home. Not sure if mould hidden somewhere but had that horrible musty smell in the air.

Not quite up to 5 star standard any more
Pros:

Love the location and the view. Lovely pool and the check in is easy and staff were friendly.

Cons:

We booked for 3 adults but there were only two single beds in the room. The solution was to roll in another bed which was comfortable enough but it looked old and not up to the advertised 5 star Crystalbrook standard. The pool table looked a little worse for wear and there seems to be lots of empty glasses around the area not cleaned up.
