Best value stay in the peak location of Hobart.
Pros:

Lovely historic hotel with excellent staff. Particularly enjoyed the hotel bar with chess set and real fire. Felt like an extra in Downton Abbey.

Cons:

There is very little storage in the rooms - not much to be done about that - but a few more hangers would have helped.

Pros:

The location is fabulous and the original part of the hotel was nicely restored. The view of the mountain was very nice and the staff were accommodating and helpful. The car parking was a bonus with easy access to park.

Cons:

I thought there beds could have been more firm. You can also hear the people in the room above and possibly water noise. Overall that was not a deal breaker as the noise was a low enough level to not stop us from enjoying the room.

Happy Winter Hobart Holiday
Pros:

We loved the location, the ambience, the suites, the view, the staff especially Shahah at Breakfast.

Cons:

The bed was OK but could be more comfortable. The mattress lacked structure and the pillows could be firmer.

Pros:

Fabulous location with easy access car park, and generous sized rooms.. Would have liked some warm dressing gowns, I seem to remember them in the past. Have stayed here multiple times and always recommend it to visitors. Also love the real milk in bar fridge for your first tea/coffee of the day.

Lack of dressing gowns.

Lovely stay in a beautiful old mansion
Pros:

Loved the location. Pleasant staff, beautiful spacious room. Gorgeous property.

Cons:

For 2 days the elevator didn’t work and it was a hard walk up and down the stairs with our luggage and also without.
