We really liked the location as Tiburon is a beautiful area and everything was within walking distance. We jumped the ferry the next day to Angel Island and enjoyed walking around that wonderful piece of California's history.
The cost of the hotel was over $300, given it was a Sunday night on a holiday weekend, but that is no excuse for charging such a high rate when the quality of the rooms don't reflect it. Although the outer appearance of the hotel was nice, the room was dated, smelled poorly, was loud and had a cheap hotel vibe. The most disappointing aspect was the gym; it was a poorly lit corner room with three pieces of equipment, no free weights, bench, mats or much at all. We chose to spend our day being active outside but when a gym is advertised make it a place that you'd actually want or expect your guests to exercise.
The rooms are very old and look like they’re falling apart.
I booked two rooms, but the hotel only had one reservation. Josh, I believe, found another room for us, but not the type I had reserved, and honored the booking price. Even gave us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience at checkin. Our sons were satisfied with their room, though it ended up being one king bed vs two queens. That was all that was available. It's a short walk down to Tiburon main street and the restaurants.
The room that my husband and I got was on the 3rd floor and faced west. "The lodge room" due to the high ceiling. The A/C was useless and the room was quite hot all evening and night. We sleep in cool rooms so did not enjoy that. The hotel is kind of old and dated regarding hallways etc. I don't think it was worth the price.
The property was beautiful, calm and quiet.
I could hear the people upstairs just walking around their room. They weren’t being loud but the property was just old and not well insulated.
Location value for money

Location was amazing
Easy parking, helpful staff, comfortable room, excellent location.
Larger desk for work. More outlets on each side of bed.
The location of this hotel is very good. Can walk to everything. Pillows were good.
The restaurant was very expensive- even for breakfast. The hotel was also very noisy. The rooms are run down a bit. Could use a facelift. Bed was hard as a rock.
The restaurant was great.
New caret in the room was nice.
The bed was not comfortable. It felt like springs were popping up.
Ice machine was too far away since ours was broken.
The ledge in the shower looked very dirty that holds your shampoo and soap.
Walking to our room in the third floor 307 the walkway seems a little slanted which does not seem up to code.
I stayed at this hotel on May for a family trip. A couple things to note:
Location is excellent. There is plenty of parking. Pillows are nice.
The hotel rooms are in desperate need of updating. The coffee maker was crusty and old. The hotel is very loud. Staff was power washing on Saturday for hours.
It’s close to where we were going. The bar is nice.
Your front desk staff is inattentive and sometimes rude. Your coffee bar is dangerous! I put my cup down to put sugar in it and it fell over and burned my hand. The surface is uneven. You need that on a level table. Anyway, when it fell over I yelped and the woman at the front desk didn’t even react. There was nothing to mop the coffee up with and I literally had to walk over and ask her for some paper towels. Until then she didn’t acknowledge that I was even there.
My two siblings and I were in town for a family birthday. My brother says there was black mold on the ceiling of 110 and my sister mentioned the state of the bathroom fixtures and molding was in poor repair in her room, 210 I think. It was also very loud at night due to some conference attendees hanging around and being loud out by the pool. The cost of the rooms, nearly $1000 for three nights, is exorbitant. I don’t think I’ll be back for that reason.
Super clean!!
