Only chose it because of airport location. Would try somewhere else next time.
Pros:

Very opulent reception area and lounges

Cons:

Mix of quality furnishings in unhelpful places and ridiculously soft beds in small rooms with external doors that didn’t lock properly

We had a great stay, check in was easy and are sleep was comfortable! Thanks so much to the friendly staff aswell.
Pros:

I thought the aura of the property was excellent. Felt like a quality place.

Cons:

The door jamb in the bathroom of my room was in need or better repairs, however I’m a finish carpenter so I’m picky. It was clean but could have been repaired better.

Pros:

Location is conveniently very close to the airport but still quite quiet. The hotel is nicely presented and looks to have been built or refurbished very recently to a high standard. There is an onsite bar and restaurant that looked to be serving fine dining type fare. Breakfast was good and is available from 5am. Deluxe room was a good size and well appointed.

Cons:

For a hotel appearing to aim for a high standard, they should do better with minor points of detail- our double room had only one set of towels provided and a cup was still dirty from a previous guest. Check in was a bit slow as the front desk staff seemed to be busier talking to each other. Also our standard room was on the small side compared to other places we stayed in Iceland. Overall its fine, but just doesn't quite deliver on the basics and what they appear to be aiming for and in my opinion represents average value for money at the price I paid.

Das Zimmer war für drei Personen sehr klein. Beim Frühstück war der Buffett-Aufbau etwas durcheinander - Marmelade oder süßer Aufstrich fehlten

Be careful when booking this place.

You may arrive expecting to get some rest after a long trip, only to be told that there are no rooms available, even though you have a confirmed reservation. Instead, you could be sent to a run-down hostel with no toilet paper or basic amenities—despite paying the same $300 for your room.

This experience was completely unacceptable and not what I paid for.

Cons:

The man at the front desk was very rude. The rooms are small. There was mold in all of the corners of the bathroom. The water smells like sulfur so bad! Pictures online of the lobby make it look very nice but the rooms are more like the quality of a hostel. Definitely not worth the price we paid.
