背伸びしているが決して満足出来ない四つ星ホテル
Pros:

朝食はまあまあのレベル。
エレベーターが1基しかない。

Cons:

四つ星のホテルとしては設備が古くアメニティも貧弱。室内の照明が壊れていたり、カーテンが外れていたり、およそ客の居心地を良くしようとする姿勢が無いのでは？
部屋の造りも酷かった。斜めの天井の梁に頭を何度かぶつけそうになった。
三つ星のレベルの宿なのに宿泊代が高い。

Pros:

Breakfast was very good and the location was great.. the room was excellent.

Cons:

Sadly the bar area was a let down the manager was kind enough to fetch a drink for us but stocks were low. We had one drink and left.

Hat uns sehr gut gefallen - für den nächsten Aufenthalt in Triest kommen wir gerne wieder.
Pros:

Das Badezimmer war geräumig. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und das Frühstücksbuffet sehr vielfältig und sehr gut.

Cons:

Zimmer 405: der Zugang zum Bett bei der Dachschräge nicht angenehm. Eine Information vorab wäre hilfreich gewesen.

Good but needs to do better for a four star hotel
Pros:

The staff were lovely. The room as a good size. The breakfast was OK. The location was good for the train station. The shower was good.

Cons:

One of the legs on the fridge was broken so every time it was opened everything moved. The coffee pods were never replenished ( we were there three nights). The bathroom was not cleaned on the second night. The shower gel and shampoo were not replenished. All the bedroom doors shut will a loud bang so people arriving to their rooms late or leaving early disturbed the nearby rooms. The main reason we booked the hotel was because it is advertised on the website and in the information book in the room as having a bar and restaurant. I mentioned this at check out and the staff member said there were so many options nearby they did not have the facility any longer. I suggested they change the website and the information book in the room. They said that yes, perhaps they should and would pass this on to management. The bar and restaurant have been closed for a number of years I understand. You are misspelling your product. I also would not say that the hotel is in the CENTRE of Trieste. The towels were old and stratchy and there was a hole in our duvet cover.

Buon hotel con tante cose da migliorare
Pros:

Lo stile della camera, l’arredamento, la comodità del letto

Cons:

La porta della camera si apriva solamente dandogli una spallata, non è normale.
L’accoglienza all’arrivo è stata molto timida.
La colazione costa una sproposito e non c’è un servizio bar pomeridiano/serale.

I would definitely recommend staying here - great location, lovely rooms and the breakfast and coffee was also great!
Pros:

Hotel Solun was in a perfect location, we walked everywhere we needed to. Plus only a 10 minute walk to the train/bus station.

Cons:

The only issue we had (which is not a big issue at all), was that the bathroom towels were a little worn with some holes in them.
