This is a completely nonsmoking hotel. Smoking is not allowed inside the property and guests cannot request smoking rooms.
The shuttle service from subway station "Karasumaoike" around No.2 exit operates from 08:20 to 21:40 every 20 minutes and costs of free of charge.

La ubicación entre dos estaciones de metro. Tienen un mini-bus que cada 15 minutos te acerca al cruce de las dos líneas de metro de Kyoto. La habitación amplia y cómoda, incluye un escritorio. Para el desayuno se puede elegir entre dos restaurantes, uno japonés y el otro tipo europeo.

Mogelijkheid voor een japans of westers ontbijt.
Het westers ontbijt was ruim van keus.
Parkeren in het hotel was aan de prijs voor japanse begrippen.
Er was een shuttledienst die je naar de metro bracht. Van daaruit kan je ook weer alle kanten op.
Het lag wat verder van de bezienswaardigheden, echter wij hadden 2 dagen een fiets gehuurd.

Ruhige Lage top Hotel
The staff was polite, kind, and helpful. It was the best stay of our journey in Japan. The architecture and the interior of the hotel are really fascinating.
As an architect, I love the courtyard inside the hotel and the entrance as well.
They have 2 different styles of breakfast, both Western and Japanese cuisine.
Our room was well-decorated and spacious. Our daughter loved playing around the room.
Even though the hotel is not close to most of the city's attractions, the shuttle keeps you connected to the city center. It leaves every 20 minutes until 21:40.
If I ever come back to Kyoto, and I hope I will, I'd still stay here for sure!
