An excellent hotel in a great location in Kyoto
Pros:

Ample rooms, a very clean and convenient bathroom, and an elegant, modern facility. The staff is extremely polite and helpful, which isn't unusual in Japan.

Cons:

I found the buffet breakfast (as the only breakfast option) a bit overpriced. However, there are nice cafes in the neighborhood if you do not want to have breakfast at the hotel.
