Pros:

The Japanese style breakfast was excellent, delicious and elegant at the same time. Restaurant staff live up to the hotel's 5 start standard.
The in room matcha kit was the star of our stay. At first I thought that it is only something of mediocre level to attract foreign tourists. But the quality far exceeded my expectation. High grade matcha from the renowned tea brand Tsujiri, the chasen (tea whisker) was one of the best quality I have ever used, easy to use and made fine foamy texture matcha.

Lovely hotel. Due for refurbishment in November but didn’t feel old or dated
Pros:

Breakfast, French toast is amazing, room and facilities. Staff were amazing. Shuttle bus really useful

アクセスが悪い代わりに、めちゃくちゃコスパが良い！
Pros:

このホテルは公共交通機関(京都市営地下鉄)からのアクセスが悪いところがデメリットとなります。一方で、その分1泊あたりの値段は非常におさえられており、部屋の広さもともて大きくなっております。また、特徴としては、日本のいわゆるバブル期の建物であり、非常にゆとりのある作りとなっており、1階のロビーフロアに水が流れております。また、絹谷幸二氏の巨大な壁画があったりと、現代のホテルと一線を画すゆとりがあります。加えて、中のレストランのレベルがそれなりに高いわりに、お値段も割安となっております。はっきりいって、アクセスが悪い点を除けば最高のホテルと思います。

Cons:

アクセスは、一番近い地下鉄の駅から10-15分ほどかかるため、夏の暑い日や雨の日は移動がつらいです。また、2026年12月から改築され、その後はヒルトンと提携するようです。宿泊費が3倍程度となると予想されており、庶民には泊まり辛くなると思います。

Pros:

Hôtel digne d’un palace avec un service d’exception, une architecture somptueuse et des chambres très élégantes.

Nous avons également appréciés la proximité de cet hôtel avec les liaisons de transports publics.

Noch ein letztes Mal den Charme und Fünf Sterne Komfort der 80er Jahre genießen

Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend begrüßt und mit dem Gepäck unterstützt, die Atmosphäre im Hotel mit dem Charme und der Noblesse der 80er Jahre, das Zimmer war groß, die große Badewanne im Bad war praktisch, das japanische Frühstück war überragend!!!

Cons:

Das Europäische Frühstück blieb etwas hinter den hohen Erwartungen zurück. Wir haben es nur einmal probiert. Beispiel: Es fehlt eine gute Kaffeemaschine, die mehrere Varianten anbietet.
