Pros:

Storico Hotel nel cuore di Zermatt, posizione fantastica che consente di raggiungere facilmente a piedi la stazione dei treni e gli impianti. Camere ampie, arredi curati, colazione di grande livello e personale alla reception estremamente disponibile e cordiale. Si avverte in questo Hotel il fascino di una delle stazioni piu' prestigiose dell'arco alpino, con vista sul Cervino e sul Monte Rosa.

Perfeita.
Pros:

O hotel é histórico e muito aconchegante. Os quartos são amplos e muito bem equipados. Ganhamos um upgrade de quarto, com vista para o Matterhorn. Cafe da manhã espetacular.

Luxurious stay in Zermatt!
Pros:

We received an upgrade to a suite upon arrival- it was wonderful! Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Pros:

Excellent hotel and staff super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also great too. Location is perfect, right in the middle of the town.

Nice in many ways but no AC was a problem.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful. Asked for ice and a fan and they brought them to the room. Location is along the Main Street across from a church that rang some very loud bells but that stopped late at night. Close to everything. Breakfast was very nice with options for freshly made eggs. Room was large especially for Europe.

Cons:

There is no way to control your room’s temperature. There is no AC. Usually not an issue perhaps, but in May the heatwave in Europe made this 3rd floor room hot and stuffy. Opening windows helped but lets in lots of street noise. During the evening I was constantly getting up to adjust the windows to let in more or less air. Night was cold—50, even 40’s For $500/night, I expected better. We spent over 2 weeks in Switzerland and stayed in 5 hotels and every other one had AC. In the winter, no problem, but with ever increasingly hotter summers, this was a big problem for me. Otherwise, nice place.

A really comfortable stay. So happy to see the Matterhorn from our balcony.

There’s a lot to like about this property. It’s elegant and historical with views of the Matterhorn from our balcony. Super friendly young staff especially Bruno at Edward’s bar. I would like to highlight great communication from the front desk, Iliana. You’re superb! Completely happy with our room as it’s a significant milestone trip. Breakfast was hearty. We were completely satisfied. Loved the pick up from Zermatt train station and drop off.
