We came for the afternoon tea and enjoyed it so much! Thuli made sure we were looked after at all times, thank you! Make sure you come with an appetite, as there is so much delicious food served :)
Tea Time was delightful. Nomkitha was a fantastic server.
Such a beautiful hotel, both inside and out. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and the selection of food was generous -more than enough to enjoy. The unlimited tea and coffee options were a wonderful touch.
A special thank you to our waitress, Ntombi, who did an excellent job explaining the different teas and made the whole experience even more enjoyable with her warm and friendly service.

We had the most beautiful afternoon tea at the Mount Nelson Hotel from 16h00 to 18h00, and it was such a special experience.
The setting was elegant, calm and timeless, exactly what you would expect from the Pink Lady. The menu was beautifully presented, with a lovely selection of savoury bites, finger sandwiches, scones and sweet treats.
I had the mango tea, which was a fruity infusion of hibiscus, apple, mango and lemongrass. It was light, refreshing and paired so nicely with the afternoon tea.
A special thank you to our waiter, Nomkitha, who made the experience even more memorable. She was warm, attentive and professional, and looked after us with such care. Nothing felt rushed, and she made the afternoon feel relaxed and special.
It was a beautiful Cape Town experience and definitely something I would recommend to anyone wanting a classic, elegant afternoon tea.

We had a lovely aftwrnoon with family enjoying the birthday. The experience was made better by Ntombi who was a friendly face with helpfull advice. Worth the time and a great way to spend the afternoon.
We had the most amazing experience of afternoon tea at Mount Nelson. Zona provided fantastic service, the live piano player was spectacular and the venue is a sight to behold. We will absolutely be back!

We had a lovely high tea experience! Thabisa was an exceptional waitress - so kind and helpful! Craig, the tea sommelier, took us on an amazing tea tasting adventure. Highly recommended, beautiful space and lasting memories with special family. A must do when in Cape Town!
Enjoying High Tea in a location that has seen so many historical people is an experience. Made better by the service that Emma and Emmanuel offer as you enjoy the delicate courses being presented with style and grace.
We chose the Mount Nelson Hotel to celebrate my wife's milestone birthday and stayed four nights there. It's luxurious and steeped in tradition, with excellent service, yet still relaxed and warm.
Breakfasts were varied and highly enjoyable. We also tried the restaurants — The Verandah, The Red Room, and Amura among them — and each delivered excellent cuisine, ambience, and service.
The hotel team made a huge effort to make my wife's birthday fun and memorable. A bottle of Cape Town sparkling wine and a chocolate cake were greatly appreciated. But what really stood out was our departure: a hotel manager, having noticed my wife's interest in the hotel's floral decorations during our stay, gifted her a beautiful protea bouquet. A thoughtful touch that we won't forget.
