Trasferta con motoscafo hotel Excelsior Lido-Venezia San Marco, ok
i punti critici durante il nostro soggiorno sono già stati discussi con il duty manager, che ha apprezzato le nostre opinioni
breakfast was very good indeed. better than our previous stays. sadly the weather was poor for May so we were unable to use the beach. the room was very comfortable and we were pleased to have a balcony and sea view.
your concierge service particularly Alessandro is very good indeed. we have had excellent service from Alessandro Amadio over the years
the wifi in our room on floor 6 was very poor.
it was disappointing that the shuttle service to and from San Marco finishes as 9pm. this does not enable one to have supper in Venice. the shuttle was the main issue for us. firstly we were not informed when booking that luggage is not taken on the hotel shuttle boat. this was very annoying and incurred an additional cost. also as the weather was poor it was not great that there was not an awning at St Marco so you could shelter when waiting for the boat. also.... the shuttle drivers all had different approaches ti how many passengers they would take. some only took 12 and were very strict others were not. the shuttle boat was the biggest issue and made the stay less relaxing then the wifi
Amazing buffet. Even fresh carrot juice, my favorite rare juice.
The shuttle boat service to the city is somstimes too crowded and cannot take all waiting guests. They the have to wait for the next one. The hotel should have a 2nd, reserve, shuttle boat for such situations.
Most everything was great. The Staff, the property, the food
A leak in our room, and we were in an area which had not yet been renovated.
Staff extremely helpful, breakfast excellent. Loved the launch over to San Marco.
The dinner we had on the terrace was ok, but not great; and room service was somewhat slow
Beautiful hotel and facilities! The breakfast was amazing! The staff was very nice and friendly! The hotel provides a free shuttle boat to go to San Marcos.
The beach was already closed for the season and the view was blocked by a tarp.
We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was outstanding. We dont do reviews but we wanted to post it this time as the staff really deserves it, from the reception, to the concierge desk, and the pier team, everyone made us feel at home. We stayed for 3 nights and the concierge made us a fantastic itinerary, offering options out of the box as foraging in the Sant erasmo island, or going for a morning in the market, and play golf at the Lido (yes there is a golf course in venice also a very nice tennis facility right across the hotel). This is our third visit to Venice, and it felt like the first time. Staying at Lido and going to Venice for restaurants or art, is the best thing to do if is not your first visit. Lido has a great beach as well, and lots os things to do. We will be back. Thank you Donatella at breakfast for taking such a great care of us and Sandro at Concierge for all the support organizing our trip. GM Brito, thank you for showing us around and for your hospitality! We will be back!
