It’s history and structure and culture but yet it’s modernity.
All staff were so warm and welcoming particularly the porters and reception staff.
The experience we had in the San Ferdinando restaurant on our last night!
Dreadful delays in food being delivered to table and when it arrived the fish was inedible ( it was as if it had been overcooked on the outside of the fillet but undercooked on the inside and the skin was the most slimey texture I have ever seen and I am a fish eater and cook a lot but there was something very wrong with this fish and tasted of nothing and weird).
Needless to say I had an upset stomach that night and the next day which must have been down to the small amount of food I did eat off the main plate.

Everything about this hotel was great. The location is just a few minutes walk from the cathedral. We loved the overall ambience of the hotel with luxurious elegance supported by a team of staff all working to ensure we had everything we needed during the stay. The bonus is the outdoor pool in the hotel gardens... providing an oasis to cool down given the temperatures were above 40C during our stay.
