Confort et propreté
On aurait souhaité un petit déjeuner en buffet
Booked for an important occasion. Stayed at two other 5 star hotels for 5 nights each, the Intercontinental Dublin and the Four Seasons Cap-Ferrari. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member who joined the program 4in 1984 when it was the Marriott Marquis program. I have over 610 lifetime nights with Marriott and current Platinum status. I wrote ahead and outlined the special occasion and requested an upgrade. When I arrived the person at reception advised me that I would be provided with a choice. Then another person met me in the courtyard and informed me there was no upgrade available. I asked to double check, but the person said no.
I was disappointed but lived with the explanation.
Two days later I received a call from the guest relations manager supposedly to see how things were going. I tried to complement the small room in order not to hurt feelings. In conversation the guest relations manager stated that she debated on whether to put me in a larger room but was concerned as to whether I could make it to the elevator. Given we had a small room with 6 suitcases stacked in the corner of the room and we walk 4 miles a day, her comment seemed insulting. The other point was the room we were assigned was not close to the elevator so her statement made no sense. We walked 90 miles in April 2026. I do not appreciate her high handed decision to put us in a smaller room without consulting the guest.
On the day we checked out I received an email from her stating she was sorry she missed the day before when we checked out. So the guest relations manager could not even get the check out day right.
Normally an upgrade would not matter but this was our last big international trip celebrating our 45 anniversary. We spent 6 nights in this hotel. It was the only hotel where I requested an upgrade. It was the only hotel that did not upgrade me. I do not forgive the lack of guest care.
The hotel is luxurious. The rest of the staff is dedicated to service. The breakfast is delicious.
The guest relations manager needs guest relations coaching.
The hotel’s service quality stood alone during our visit. Kalilou and Lars at the front desk worked to accommodate our room needs and the comfort of our stay along with the rest of the team. Housekeeping was quick to respond to our needs and the property’s dining options were of good quality. The property is slightly dated seen in some of the furniture and finishes but overall we greatly enjoyed our visit.
The doorman Frederic was amazingly helpful in local info and getting us taxis. Give him a raise! A charming Frenchman. The hotel has much more warmth and atmosphere than the adjacent Four Seasons.
I liked the breakfast service which was better than the usual buffet style which one usually has.
The staff were very helpful - anticipating our needs - eg booking a dinner externally for us, providing the car to the airport and keeping the room tidy.
nothing specific but in this price bracket one would expect a remarkable experience comparable great hotels - eg the Savoy London or Gleneagles in Scotland. We were satisfied in this regard.
I traveled with my mom, and we had an incredible time at this beautiful hotel. Benoit was particularly kind and helpful in welcoming us warmly and with outstanding hospitality. We loved the petite suite we stayed in, and all of the little touches - like the lovely French soap to the welcome fruits and chocolates - really made our trip and this hotel so memorable. It was raining when we visited Paris but that didn't stop us from having an amazing time. The location is excellent and makes reaching a Metro stop or just walking around by foot super easy. And then the 11pm room service when we got back was delicious, as well as the breakfast the next day! Merci beaucoup for a wonderful and memorable stay. We can't wait to be back!

I visited Paris many times and usually stay in best hotels in the city. It was my first visit In your property. From my point of view it’s best hotels I ever visited. Location, food, rooms and specially service just amazing. I wanna thank all stuff and from now I found my home in Paris, it’s your hotel. Would strongly recommend to all travelers.

Final Thoughts:
Hôtel Prince de Galles combines remarkable service, outstanding quality, and an unbeatable location to create a truly memorable stay.
An enchanting hotel nestled in the historic Champs Elysee area, where every interaction with the staff—from the front desk to housekeeping and bell staff—sparkles with warmth and welcoming smiles. Despite the cozy size of the rooms, they offer delightful amenities and a practical design. Shoppers will find this location ideal, with an array of charming restaurants nearby. While it might be a little distant from the elegance of Place Vendome, convenient train stations ease the journey. The dining experience is delightful, though there's potential for even more brilliance. This hotel is a hidden treasure for Marriott, with a boutique charm that captivates. Although the Marriott Bonvoy benefits are minimal, the overall experience is elevating.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for those wishing to immerse themselves in the vibrant Champs Elysee area within a beautifully curated and thoughtfully designed boutique setting.
