Stay was average, definitely not a 5 star experience.
Pros:

The breakfast good apart from the 2 coffee machines - very poor, always seemed to be running out of something. Good shower. Reception was good, quick check in.

Cons:

Poor coffee machines at breakfast. Bed was too soft. Lifts were very noisy. Very bad service at dinner in the restaurant. The waitress got our entree order wrong so we had to return one of them. Our main course dishes arrived before my wife received her correct entree, so we had to return our main course. Food was very average, certainly not worth the money.

An ideal centrally located hotel with large and tastefully decorated rooms
Pros:

The size, décor and facilities of the room. The staff were extremely helpful - especially the porters!

Cons:

The wait for a room to become available - but we had an unavoidable early arrival - but it was still around 11am... The so called "city view" provided little view of the city and looked straight into apartment blocks across the road..."city view" option on booking should be dropped, unless there is a genuine city view!

Excellent location Lovely hotel
Pros:

Excellent location close to the river and a great selection of restaurants. Wonderful view from our room of the Story Bridge

Cons:

For the sweet tooth there were no options on the in room menu which was surprising as sweets were available for breakfast
