Water pressure a little low and flashing smoke alarm above bed. It may be necessary to place alarm in this central position in which case please ignore negative comment.

Pros:

The buffet breakfast was great

Cons:

We booked because it had a spa , it was so hot you couldn’t put your foot in .
We were given 2 bowls of Ice Cream on arrival we didn’t ask for them I asked if this was complementary I was told it was then billed $30 for two small bowls of kids ice cream.

Rooms are old , plug got stuck we had to get the handyman out. Pillows and beds not comfortable at all. For the money just not that great.

Cons:

They put us in a room where the temperature control was not working. The bathroom smelled bad and there was not soap to wash your hands. And how it is possible they you pay almost 3000 aud and you don’t have parking included. I had to pay 65 each day extra…

Great service, location and facilities
Pros:

Staff were so attentive and professional. Buffet breakfast was fabulous and pool and gym areas were nice.

Cons:

Few scuff marks and some wallpaper peeling in the room. No turn down service and had to pay extra to park.

Entire experience was a bit weird
Pros:

A bit weird for the entire duration for every interaction with the staff , we were travelling to celebrate my son’s 2 yr old birthday. I saw on booking it was 0-2 free breakfast and the other category was (3-12 child ) I don’t mind paying full charge too . But when we told the staff we are there to celebrate his 2nd birthday and travel in Brisbane. The thing that happened was once they heard this they decided is charge me overage breakfast charge for the kid for 2 days out of three total (post his birthday ). Also I was never informed they would do this and I found out only after I checked out and was sent an invoice later . The process while checking in was weird too , for some mysterious reason they decide to charge my card twice for room tariff and only fixed it after I showed up with my credit card statement asking what’s the additional 1200 dollar is for the next day ,asking is it a bond or something and was never informed what’s the reason behind it but was just informed they checked it’s incorrect and they will refund.

About the House cleaning staff mugs were not replaced and left dirty as it is , the only robe which was provided was taken and never replaced. Nothing that breaks my heart or to complain too hard about but just felt a bit weird. Not a 4 star or 5 star experience but a 3 star hotel experience
