Very nice
Pros:

Bedroom was a great size. Good bedding and duvet.. nicely appointed room nd facilities.

Cons:

A little tired around the edges. Carpets in common areas need a deep clean.
Same with the bedroom just a few things look worn.

Great place - as may be expected for the money
Pros:

AN overall good experience. Excellent staff, good facilities. Breakfast is really good in a beautiful setting.
We were given another room because next door a baby was crying non stop.

Cons:

It's quite ' straight forward' . no pleasant surprises or nice attention to detail that sets the hotel apart from others.

Relaxing, homely getaway. 10/10
Pros:

Property was wonderful. Tasteful decorations, loved the plates on the wall and the interior design. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Isaac who went above and beyond. The food was a standout feature. Great quality and a reasonable price. Would recommend. Lou&Mei

We are unlikely to choose to stay here again.
Pros:

Location and staff attentiveness

Cons:

Only two electrical outlets in the room. Much of the breakfast was disappointing, despite the hype about the food being sourced from the estate. The bacon was stringy and too salty, the sausage bland. We really disliked there being dogs in the restaurant.

A relaxing stay in a lovely hotel with a beautiful scenery
Pros:

Jordan and I stayed at this beautiful, historic property and loved every moment. The swimming pool and scenic surroundings were stunning, and our room was cosy and comfortable. It was a wonderfully relaxing and romantic getaway for the two of us. The coffee machine was a great touch, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and genuinely polite - a rare find. There are lovely walking spots nearby and a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and drinks. Breakfast was high quality and served impressively fast.

Cons:

We loved the property overall and will come back. One small practical but important point for petrolheads like us: the parking bays were either too small or not marked clearly. Larger, well‑defined bays would make a big difference. We had to move the car three times during our stay because other drivers kept trying to squeeze in or parked carelessly, even though we parked far from the main entrance.

A very relaxing and comfortable stay.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast, room and dinner. The room in particular was very spacious and airy looking out over gardens and the leisure facility.

OUR ROOM WAS VERY NICE. BUT SEEMED RUN DOWN IN OTHER OTHER AREAS.
Pros:

poor selection in a poor area to have meal this area needs upgrading

Cons:

outside decor in poor state and needs painting, looks run down. Also CARPET ON STAIRS THREADBEAD AND DANGEROUS, TRIP HAZARD. ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN.

Good hotel in ideal location
Pros:

The location was ideal, as I had been attending the track testing at Goodwood Road Racing Club.
Instructions had thoughtfully been provided for the facilities (coffee maker and shower) in the room.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the location was free of noise from aircraft and traffic.
The breakfast was unique in that the ingredients had been sourced from Goodwood Estate.

Cons:

Despite the best efforts of the hotel in asking guests to respect other guests, I had been woken by late revellers talking loudly in the corridor and allowing their room door to slam.
This is the fault of inconsiderate guests and not that of the hotel.

We understand that the hotel is closing soon for a full refurbishment, which is clearly needed.
Pros:

The staff were very good and attentive.

Cons:

The room was dated and lacked some basic facilities for the price charged. The public areas looked "tired", especially the carpets in the hallways and stairs. We expected better at the price charged.
