In Madison for a wedding. The hotel was spotlessly clean, room was large. It had an iron and ironing board, hair drier, safe, lots of charging stations for phones or laptops, coffee maker, a fridge but no microwave. A very nice shower, but no tub. Room lighting was just so-so.
Unlike Comfort Inn with a free breakfast, the buffet breakfast here was $18 per person.
Stayed two nights at the Madison-West and had a great stay. The room was comfortable and quiet. I was recognized as a LT Titanium Member and the front desk staff was efficient and accommodating. Enjoyed the complementary breakfast and access to the M Club that comes with my status. Overall, the staff was very professional and friendly!
Helpful and friendly front desk staff. Located 30 min from the he airport. Open lobby with a view to the top floor. Convenient conference center for small to medium groups. Room was clean and updated. Bed was a little soft for my taste. Minimal dining options.
accessible room across from elevator was noisy, carpet dirty, lightbulb not working at bedside lamp, floor lamp unplugged, messy
It was terrible. There was blood on a towel and my mattress had a yellow stain on it. I probably could have found more if I looked and also the mattresses were like boards
Room and bath area somewhat dated. I felt that the mattresses were quite comfortable. Sufficient number of outlets and connections available for electronics. Restaurant/bar had a nice selection of alcohol and s few specialty cocktails. Food menu wasn't extensive, but what they did have was tasty. If you opted for breakfast, your only option was a buffet. The food was good and the price (I thought) was reasonable. Checkin/out seemed to go smoothly, and all of the staff that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again if the situation arose
Beds and pillows were uncomfortable; housekeeping left a lot to be desired.
Convenient for conference. Beds were okay, but pillows very flat
Food for banquet in evening wasn't cooked properly especially carrots. HARD as a rock. Utensils provided for Steak was horrible, hard to cut!! Only served beverages were coffee and ice tea. We live in WI.
I stayed here for Wisconsin graduation weekend and was disappointed - especially for paying $765 a night. The hotel is dated and the rooms are bare bones. There are no toiletries and the bathroom wasn’t very clean. There’s mold under the rim of the sink and the sink itself wouldn’t drain. I let the front desk know but it still didn’t drain.
The beds are ok but again the room itself was just ok. The towels are thin and rough as was the toilet tissue.
I usually stay in downtown Madison but due to graduation, this was the only hotel I could find. I expected more from a Marriott.
I will say the hotel staff was very friendly.
I didn’t like we had to pay for parking.
I liked the faculty and that the checkout time was 12!
I thought the cost of the breakfast was high.
Large room, comfortable bed.
Property seemed pretty empty - only a handful of people in the bar but burger took over half an hour to come out and was thoroughly overcooked. Staff disappeared so no way to send it back….!
We were attending an event on-site, so this served us well. Staff was attentive to our needs.
Breakfast a little pricey, some of the fixtures were a little beat up.
