Grounds stunning- there for wedding
Not automatic earlier checking as part of a large wedding group so couldn’t check in before the actual wedding
Breakfast very good choice of Hot and cold food.
Eat in the restaurant, could do with more choice on the menu, food very tasty. Had a large party in the restaurant, with kids running around, which a staff member did stop but they were still quite loud. Could do with air-conditioning in the restaurant.

- Nice bathroom/good facilities (e.g ironing board, tea/coffee station, etc.)

- Reasonable price & good location
- Aircon unit wasn’t the best and it made the floor around it really damp and there was an odd smell initially in the room, but it seemed to air out after a while
Had a lovely 2 day stay here for a wedding close by. Very comfortable, great service. Highly recommended.
Beautiful surroundings
The air con unit leaked both nights and the carpet was soaked
Good facilities, clean and good parking.
They obviously rely on ‘parties’ etc, so weekend could be crowded and noisy. Breakfast was a struggle and service poor on a busy Saturday morning.

Room: keycard only worked once to open door so had to visit reception regularly after not being able to access room- very frustrating
Shower terrible inside a pokey bath but at least my water was hot as another member of group only had cold water from their shower
Tv didn’t work when arrived maintenance guy couldn’t fix so said someone would check or change following day - I reminded receptionist following day when I left hotel at midday - nobody bothered to check or change it
Hotel set up very poor - very hot in bar area so our group wanted a few drinks and sit outside in garden - they have an outside area which to access from main bar after you purchase drinks you have to walk back through reception then through swimming pool past gym through golf shop which is where access to outside area is - impossible journey when carrying more than one drink and to top it off the Golf shop shut the doors at 9 pm and then was advised to walk out main entrance to hotel then aound the outside of hotel building via the car park to have a drink outside in the Sun completely ridiculous (as zest bar closes at 5pm which is closer to outside area although this still requires a flight of stairs to exit building to seating area outside)
One of our group was in a wheelchair and requested accessible room which was just a normal room and to access this my brother-in-law had to wheel his son out of the main entrance down the car park go through a fire exit door which he would have to arrange for another member of the party to open from the inside for him and then his son could access his room and then to exit the room he had to do this again via fire exit and the car park to get back into the hotel absolutely ridiculous as he booked an accessible access room for a wheelchair
