I have stayed there many times over the years and this was the worse experience I’ve ever had with staff and cleanness
Pros:

Location and the grounds

Cons:

Room wasn’t clean the bathroom bin was full of rubbish when we checked in there was only one towel in the bathroom and no tea bags or milk in the room and the mattress and too small for the bed

Beautiful building friendly staff

Cons:

Was sold on room with extra large bed and got a queen bed and that all they have so miss sold. Headboard didn’t fit bed and had no bed side table. Out dated bathroom

Wonderful stay, would happily return
Pros:

Beautiful property, gorgeous room, lovely comfy bed and staff went above expectations leaving a card and chocolates for my daughters birthday. Wonderful treatments in spa, the spa girls were really great (Claire & can’t remember other girls name sorry!)

Beautiful property, improvements in staff training would make for perfect scores
Pros:

A beautiful property with lovely grounds. The breakfast was delicious. Rooms spacious and grand.

Cons:

The staff could be a bit more helpful / trained / welcoming. Didn’t feel befitting of a place where you’re spending that much money.

Pros:

The room that we were changed to! When we arrived at the room we were allocated we felt that it was not to the standard we expected, certainly not for the money we had paid. We asked straightaway for a different room to reflect the price and they changed us to a much better room without hesitation. Which we very much appreciated. Thank you.
