Everything
Even though I had paid for my booking they overbooked and I didn’t have a room, and they didn’t inform me, so when I arrived at 00.30, I had to find another hotel.
Customer service was terrible.

Hotel room on a golf course, close to the bar.
Room only had a sky light. Advertised as 'small room with no window' only after you book. The room was actually OK size but for the cost I can see why they are trying to downplay expectations. The ironing board was very tired along with the overall feel of the hotel. Only stayed because friends were playing golf here and would only do so for the same reason
Area
Price in bar and food
Clean comfy bed
Why i was put so far away from everything when the hotel seemed quite empty...room 628. I had to go to floor 4 longest walk and up some stairs with suitcase and bags and im over 70
Didn't hear people in any of adjacent rooms
Pool shut at 8 used to be open later
Not sure I would stay again used to be a regular
Leaving.
Wouldn't stay again..
Had a 2 night stay this weekend and will book the Premier Inn in Southampton next time as it is much better value for money.
To start with I booked through booking.com and in the requests asked to use the advertised car charging and received a response saying "Of course. They are located by the driving range on your way down the drive way. We look forward to welcoming you.Kind regards, Reception Team."
Upon arrival we couldn't find them, went to reception and asked only to be told they've been removed and that wasn't them that responded the chaps works were and i quote "must have been AI"... even though all correspondence is signed by the "hotel". Thankfully there are some quick chargers at the Cricketers Inn a few minutes down the road.
The room... it's like stepping back in time, very outdated, the mattress is too wide for the bed so if you go within 8" of the edge you fall off and the mattresses are as hard as stone... fan was absolutely covered in dust, clearly not been cleaned in a long time, couldn't get into the safe as it had been left closed by the last people to stay and clearly not been checked. The rooms are not turned over each day which is very disappointing for the price.
Breakfast is expensive for what it is and you have to pay extra for the pool.
Overall at £150 a night it is very poor value for money, for that breakfast, use of the facilities and daily turnover should be standard, or atleast make the rooms feel like they've had some attention since 2008....
A shame as it could be a nice place.
room was great quite and well lit
Very spacious and comfortable rooms - 2 double beds
Poor ventilation in room - luckily a fan was provided and was necessary . We stayed 2 nights - room not made up after the first night . Tea and coffee not replaced . Staff generally not very professional
Litter in the carpark
The sheets
It’s a bit motel like
The steam, sauna pool side was great
This hotel does not deserve even 2 star. There was No air conditioner in the room. Temperature was above 30 degrees when we checked in.
No fridge in the room
No much variety for vegetarians and vegans. Poor service in restaurant, they are short of staff.
Generally staff are not warm and inviting.
The lawn was well maintained.
The room was dusty, smelly, minimal ventialtion during summer time.
Breakfast hour was madness, short staffed, food shortage, mugs/glasses were not there etc. We had to wait for more than 10 to 15mins.
There is no.lift to 6th floor and stairs are broken, smelly etc.
Location- quiet
Nothing
