No microwave and the night staff was rude.
Pros:

The location and price was good.

Cons:

The room didn’t have a microwave.
Try talking to the night staff he was very very rude. The staff stated I don’t know about a missing microwave every time I asked him something he would respond with I don’t know. So every time we need to warm up something we had to come downstairs and warm it in the lobby. I have stayed here several times never had this experience or staff rude.

Wouldn't go back. I did get a discounted rate but you can find better for that rate!

Location seemed okay.

Cons:

Lights in the bathroom flickering. Room was small, older, outdated, smelled. Door to back entry always unlocked so people could come and go into hotel without using a card. An entire group of men (not businessmen) rushed down the stairwells out the back door. Felt unsafe.

Disappointment
Pros:

Staff were wonderful, very helpful curtious, and welcoming. Location was great for the zoo, but was tucked away in an odd place in a business district. Thats all I liked about this property.

Cons:

Pool has apparently been broken and out of service for a long time per the front desk, one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. Room was large but outdated, musty, floors were sticky and carpets turned your socks BLACK. Bed was extremely hard. Ive stayed in way worse rooms, but I wont be returning to this property.

The pool was closed which was not memtioned when booking. It was green with a family of ducks living in it. The room was dirty with broken drawers and a sticky counter. The hallways smelled terrible. Went outside onto the patio and the desk person stared at me and my daughter for 5 minutes straight. Felt very uncomfortable.

Cons:

The halls smelled like rotten fish. When we got to our room there were peppers on the floor, brown stained towels on the bathroom floor, toilet paper on the floor, unmade beds, and food crumbs on the floor. A refund was not offered despite us explaining the situation. We were offered another room, but we declined it because we didn’t want to walk into an even worse situation. We ended up driving all the way home over night instead of staying.
