We were here for the end of the last week of UK Easter school holidays. There were a few children, not many. Heaps of sun loungers available but some facilities not available (eg the swim up bar). The hotel has a quaint old world charm.
Breakfast was just wonderful, with staff ho remember you day to day and more choice than you can imagine. We fruequently had lunch and drinks poolside. Good quality and service, priced as you'd expect in a 5* hotel.
Because the marina is so close, we tended to walk out for a cheap and cheerful dinner. A couple of days the weather was cooler and we went to the lighthouse, and on a longer walk with a stop for a coffee on another day. One day we had a few hours indoors because of hammering rain, but there was plenty of space to play cards, have drinks, read. It was fine.
We had a garden terrace room. The only let down is the terrace. Not cleaned and a lot of bird poop on the lounger. It was quiet though and had all we needed.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Our last day today and we are sad to be leaving.
We’ve booked for bed and breakfast and the breakfast has been one of the best we’ve experienced in any 5 star hotel. There is so much choice and the service is exceptional.
The staff have really made our stay, they are some of the most friendly and welcoming. As soon as you sit down for breakfast they take your drinks order and continue to check whether you’d like another coffee. After a couple of days they knew our orders (decaf oat iced latte 😊)

The hotel and grounds are spotlessly clean, another big plus is there are plenty of sun loungers to chose from and they are all so comfortable. We preferred to sit down by the sea, and throughout the day there are always plenty of free Sunbeds. This makes the holiday so much more relaxing.
And the Pino colado’s are fantastic!

The location of the hotel is perfect. By the ocean and within walking distance of the numerous restaurants and cafes all along the sea front and harbour. It is a vibrant place.

We’ve been to the Annabelle for the past five years and it has never disappointed on all fronts. Feels luxurious and the amenities are first rate. There are three pool areas which are all different, and the room we like to stay in has a plunge pool, which can easily fit 3-4 people in.

Staff are always very welcoming and polite, and will bend over backwards to help you. It was lovely to see Rupesh every day who came in to make up our rooms. Lovely guy and always smiling.

Annabelle is right on the harbour front so a stones throw from the sea. Paphos harbour itself is such a lovely place, great shops, restaurants and bars along the way. And we enjoy a short walk up to the ruins and fort.

The hotel is in a very good position for getting out and about right on the sea front and very close to the harbour. The hotel itself is nice but a bit dated on the side we stayed in. The room was big enough and had all of the amenities you’d expect. We had a ground floor garden terrace room (121) it was very roomy but afforded little privacy as there is a small privacy slatted fence the rest is a very low wall which on one occasion had another guest walking across to get to his friends room instead of using the corridor. Housekeeping do a great job. As stated in other reviews if you’re on half-board the meals are à la carte there is no evening buffet, which is fine if you have a wide palette. And don’t mind being tied to a certain time as all restaurants have to be boomed Staff always try to accommodate at mealtimes but choices are limited. The food situation is probably the only reason we would not return.

The positives: a lovely hotel and a lovely room - 5 star. The location is nice and swimming pools lovely and great for children. Very close to the sea and although no beach as such - the sea was easily accessible and I loved going down to the sea or the pool. Really relaxing. The breakfast in the buffet area again was good quality with a wide variety of well cooked food. Very clean and overall a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. My family loved the stay so thank you.
A negative - don't go half-board - not worth it. No buffet for dinner and you have a choice of 3 restaurants - one of the restaurants - in the hotel (Chinese) was absolutely excellent but you have to order from a limited menu. The food was good and we went 3 times because the other options were not great. Very complex system for half-board - you can purchase other food but it is not part of the half-board project and you have to work out the difference in price. I booked half-board so that I wouldn't have to think of money and food. I was shocked that we didn't have what I expected of half-board and taught me a lesson to never assume!
If they had a buffet in the evening and you didn't have to worry re half-board, I would definitely go back.
Definitely a holiday I will never forget, so relaxing and a wonderful place to go with your family. So thank you.

Staff were very friendly and Informative. Nothing was ever ‘too much’ trouble. Located right on the seafront within walking distance to a sandy beach and the harbour. The atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed in all areas: pool, rooms, restaurants etc. Rooms were clean and well maintained throughout the day. Three visits daily from staff for restock, changing of bedding/towels and a turndown service. Bottled water in the room (replenished daily) was a nice touch. Grounds are very well kept. Many different pools meant we never had to wait for a sun-bed regardless of what time of day we went to the pool. The food was beautiful and the breakfast had everything you could ever want! Parking onsite made it easy to move around Paphos with a hire car. Spa is peaceful and relaxing. All restaurants have a different atmosphere and all were enjoyable. We will be back!

We paid around £2,000 for our stay at the Annabelle and unfortunately came away feeling really disappointed. This hotel simply did not meet the standard we expected from a five-star property.

When we arrived, we were allocated a room that looked more like staff accommodation than a luxury hotel room and looked nothing like the one we had booked. The room was filthy, dusty and poorly maintained, with obvious dirt and stains throughout.

The biggest issue was the shower. It leaked constantly, even when it wasn’t in use, causing water to run into the corridor.

Another huge disappointment was the pools. Every pool was over 32°C, making them feel more like a jacuzzi than a swimming pool. In the Cyprus summer heat, there was nowhere to cool down, and many other guests were complaining about the temperature too.

The area by the sea was littered with cigarette butts and even used condoms, which was shocking to see at a hotel of this standard. Pool service was also poor, with waiters often not responding when the call buttons were used, and breakfast even finished before the advertised closing time on one morning.

I honestly don’t understand how this hotel maintains a five-star rating. While the gardens are beautiful, the rooms, cleanliness, maintenance and service simply don’t justify the price. I visited previously around 10 years ago and the decline is shocking.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel offered a perfect blend of luxury and serenity, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the room was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep.

The location was perfect—just steps away from the sea for a refreshing swim and only a five-minute walk along the boardwalk to the harbour, where there was a fantastic choice of restaurants.

The breakfast was exceptional, with a vast selection of fresh, high-quality food. There was something for everyone.

We were on breakfast only we did have lunch twice at the hotel and this was amazing make sure you are hungry or share. The evening menus in the restraunts look fab but we chose not to eat there but venture further outside.

I would highly recommend using the spa the lovely lady (sorry I forgot your name) that gave me a fully body scub and moisture made my skin feel like silk. Tip I would go at the end of the day have a shower first then after the spa you are good to go. Wish i had gone more than just the one time at the end of my holiday.

There are plenty of trips to go on as well as the water park which is only about a 5 min bus ride with air con bus which stops a little way up from the hotel - great if you have kids and teens.

What truly made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and always greeted us with a genuine smile. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

In the evenings in the hotel lobbey there would be a pianist playing gentle music or there would be a harpist playing which was lovely especially after a meal when we would sit and have a drink whilst playing cards with the music playing in the background

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and welcoming stay in a fantastic location. We can't wait to return!

I was in need of total relaxation and was fortunate to stay in a studio suite with a private plunge pool.
Having stayed at the Annabelle a number of times in the past and twice in the pool room, I couldn't think of anywhere better to unwind...I was not disappointed ☺️
I'm very surprised to see a recent negative review regarding the cleanliness of the room as mine was spotless throughout my stay.
I prefer to swim in the sea, so I didn't use the pools on this occasion. After breakfast I would settle on a sunbed on the decking overlooking the sea.. it's a lovely view. There are plenty of sunbeds to choose from in different areas.
Later in the afternoon I would retreat to my room and it really is such a treat to have your own outside space and a pool to cool off in. I got through 4 books during my 1 week stay... honestly it was heaven!
I was on B&B terms...the breakfast selection is great, but I only ate at the Italian Mediterranean Restaurant at the hotel once. I do love the Ouzeri at their sister hotel next door...the atmosphere is beautiful, overlooking the harbour, with live musicians and serving traditional Greek/ Cypriot food.
As many have noted, the position of the hotel is fantastic. You are literally around the corner from the promenade and a short walk to the harbour and the castle. I love to stroll after dinner ( don't miss the coastal walk towards the lighthouse, just follow the path past the castle...the views at sunset are so beautiful!) I also love the fact that even around 11pm you can safely stroll around the promenade..I've never noticed any drunken, yobby types!
Staying at the Annabelle was poignant for me, as it brought back happy memories of staying here when my son was young..it was lovely to return.

A top class hotel. Everything about the place oozes quality. The staff are first rste and we were very well looked after.

The initial onboarding and check-in experience was excellent. Both members of staff who welcomed us were friendly, professional, and genuinely pleasant, particularly Fatima and Eva, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their warm hospitality created a very positive first impression.

Unfortunately, the room cleanliness did not meet the standard I would expect from a hotel that markets itself as five-star. I also found the hotel to feel somewhat dated in places. One example that stood out was having to carry a large, heavy room key with an oversized metal room number attached. While this may be intended as a traditional touch, it felt unnecessary and outdated compared with the key card or digital entry systems used by most modern luxury hotels.

This was my 26th country, and I have stayed in well over 100 hotels around the world. Based on that experience, I do not believe this property currently delivers a genuine five-star experience. The facilities and overall presentation did not justify that rating in my opinion.

That said, I greatly appreciated Chrystalla's prompt response to my concerns. She took my feedback seriously, addressed my complaints professionally, and acted on them effectively. Following this, the level of service was exceptional, and I was very pleased with the way the situation was handled. It is a credit to the management team that they responded so positively and worked hard to resolve the issues.

Overall, the hotel has some excellent staff who clearly care about guest satisfaction, and they deserve recognition for their professionalism. However, the property itself would benefit from investment and modernization, along with greater attention to housekeeping standards, if it is to consistently meet the expectations associated with a five star hotel.

Friendly staff that would do anything to meet your needs. Room was large and nice balcony view of sea. Room is cleaned twice which is nice but wonder if it is really needed. Lots of sun loungers. Breakfast is good. Mini fridge can't be used for your own food and you will be charged. We did find that a bit restrictive as we have been in other 5 star hotels that didn't have this restriction. But we managed. Food can be pricey in hotel and we did wait an hour at lunch for just a club sandwich. Had buffet dinner once. Was slightly disappointed - lots of salads and not enough variety of hot dishes. Also note another rule is no food from outside can be brought into the hotel. Again we think this is a bit too restrictive considering this is a family place and sometimes kids may want to eat something else. Plus to me this is forcing guests to use hotel food facilities. So for a 5star there are some strange rules! Nice location in Paphos centre so easy walk to restaurants and beach front. Comfortable beds.

From the first moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed like at home! We came here 4 times, also our friends stayed and everyone is very happy and grateful. We can't leave without letting you know how sincerely we appreciate your lavishing on us your hospitality.. We are leaving tomorrow this hotel and we already look forward to come back again!Thank you and enjoy good health and prosperity. All the staff is amazing and hopefully well taken care of! Wonderful hotel, well kept and spotlessly clean. All the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. The restaurants were amazing, wonderful food and atmosphere. The hotel is in a perfect location for early morning walks and evening strolls to the harbour - we will definitely be back

Gorgeous hotel, staff are wonderful from the helpful front desk to the hard working cocktail makers at the pool bar to the housekeeping team. Hotel is well positioned to explore the area and it’s an easy walk to the harbour area. We opted for B&B, the breakfast choice is great and we will miss the cheerful chef ! We were upgraded upon arrival, the rooms are super clean, housekeeping keep on top of any requests you have, lovely complimentary toiletries in the rooms and the air con is much appreciated. The hotel cat struts around like he owns the place and loves a chin rub. I loved coming back from a day out or by the pool into the lobby area and it was like stepping into an oasis of calm and coolness ! Thank you for a fab stay, even the fussy teenagers loved it ! X
