To make our hotel even more beautiful, as we do every year, we are renovating our entrance area, probably until the beginning of December. We will, of course, carry out this work with the utmost care and ensure that all of our hotel's services are fully available to you as usual. During this time, we have set up our reception on our gallery on the mezzanine floor.

Hier ist eine stilistisch überarbeitete und sachliche Version deiner Kritik:

Leider hat man den Eindruck, dass sich das Hotel auf seinem traditionsreichen Ruf und den glanzvollen vergangenen Zeiten ausruht. Seitdem scheint wenig investiert oder modernisiert worden zu sein.

Unser erstes Zimmer roch muffig, zudem war das Kopfteil des Bettes sichtbar verschmutzt. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass das Personal umgehend reagierte und uns ein Upgrade auf ein anderes Zimmer anbot.

Das neue Zimmer war zwar deutlich geräumiger und sauberer, dafür jedoch von einem starken chemischen Geruch geprägt. Im Zimmer stand noch ein Ozongerät, das offenbar zur Beseitigung unangenehmer Gerüche eingesetzt worden war. Das hinterließ bei uns keinen besonders vertrauenswürdigen Eindruck.

Zudem wurden wir erst kurz vor unserer Anreise darüber informiert, dass der Pool wegen Wartungsarbeiten geschlossen ist. Gerade bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie und Preisklasse ist das sehr enttäuschend, da der Spa-Bereich für viele Gäste ein wichtiges Buchungskriterium darstellt.

Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt leider eine große Enttäuschung. Bei den aufgerufenen Preisen hatten wir deutlich mehr erwartet – sowohl hinsichtlich des Zustands der Zimmer als auch des Gesamterlebnisses. Der Anspruch eines Grandhotels wird hier aus unserer Sicht derzeit nicht erfüllt.
