Stayed at the Harrisson Lake Hotel over the long weekend and unfortunately would not recommend it. The hotel overall feels very neglected and poorly maintained.
The carpets throughout the hotel were dirty and stained, including in our room. The corridor had missing baseboards, towels were rough and had holes in them, and even the duvet appeared dirty.
We understand this is a more budget-friendly hotel, but we still expect basic cleanliness and upkeep. Overall, the property lacks care and did not meet even minimum expectations.
Location is great. Price is great.
Place is run down. Bathroom ceiling completely water stained, scary actually. They have a coffee maker but no coffee. Make sure you bring everything you need. Was nice to have a fireplace in the room.

Hotel es viejo, sucio, descuidado, baños con hongos en las paredes, coffee maker sucio, servilletas sucias, sabanas manchadas, mueble de ropa con puerta caida, no jabon liquido para manos. Solo un rollo de papel toilet, solo dos toallas de bano, aire acondicionado no funcionaba, no habia wifii. En general hotel en pesimo estado, parqueo con material horrible en el techo lleno de excrementos de pajaro.
I would highly recommend avoiding this property for many reasons. First - we booked through Expedia (as we normally do) and reserved and paid for a Deluxe Room with 1 King bed and a Lake View. When we checked in, they provided us a standard room with 2 double beds with a Courtyard view (not what we paid for). The elevator going to the room was sketchy at best, making some very concerning noises. Once in the room, we discovered the A/C was not working, no matter what we tried to do to solve the issue. We discussed our situation with the front counter staff, who did their best to assist - this unfortunately only included bringing in a loud, portable A/C unit, which meant sleeping with the window open and outside noises introduced through the night. We discussed the room we paid for, however the front counter staff indicated they were fully booked and could not assist - I asked them to have the Manager contact me regarding the situation. I sent an email to the "contact us" site, unfortunately multiple days have passed and I have yet to hear back from the Hotel - to me, this is totally unacceptable from a business point of view. Everything about this stay was horrific - I would avoid this hotel at all costs, not worth the headache at all. To the Property Managers at the Harrison Lake Hotel - I gave multiple opportunities for your team to make this situation right, however you failed miserably. Very disappointed!!!
Decent price
Very run down. Paid for parking but the lot was full and we were scrambling to find parking on the street.

Latch for lock was open so when we checked in our door was still opened. Second bed had no pillows because there wasnt any pillow cases on them. I called down to front desk so he came and put cases on them but they were all ripped so I gave a pillow from first bed. Hair all over the bathroom. Small chunks of food in microwave yet.

slightly dirty hallways but room is clean
Great location and nice lobby but the rest of the place needs a lot of work. Common areas are filthy. Ceiling tiles missing and bulbs burnt out in hallways. The A/C didn't work in our south facing room. It was boiling in the room and we had our dog with us. Terrible situation. They gave us a fan but it wasn't very helpful. No discount, no refund.
