Gute Lage, aber das Hotel sollte dringend renoviert werden
Pros:

Das Zimmer groß und das Bett sehr bequem.
Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage um Charleston und Mount Pleasant zu erkunden.
Restaurants sind innerhalb weniger Fahrminuten im Shem Creek zu erreichen.

Cons:

Das Hotel benötigt dringend eine Renovierung. Die Möbel sind in die Jahre gekommen und an einigen Stellen hat sich die Tapete gelöst. Es ist insgesamt sehr dunkel und wirkt trist.
Leider hat man auch nach der Zimmerreinigung noch Flecken gehabt (z.B. am Spiegel im Bad). Der Geruch war teilweise sehr muffig und neben dem Wäscheraum hat es nach Schweiß gerochen.

Am meisten irritiert hat es uns, als wir in der letzten Nacht von einem Geräusch vor unserer Tür wach geworden sind. Wie sich dann herausgestellt hat, hat uns der Nachtdienst die Rechnung durch die Tür durchgeschoben.

Customer service was incredible! I wish the room didn’t have carpet.

Um Charleston zu besuchen ein guter Ausgangspunkt
Pros:

Schöne ruhige Lage. Der Empfang war freundlich. Frühstück war gut - leider wurde es Punkt 09.30 Uhr abgeräumt. Also früh kommen 😃

Cons:

Wir hatten zwei größere Insekten im Zimmer . 🫣

We will not be back due to this experience. It was our favorite place to stay over the years

We love the location. It used to be our favorite place to stay.

Cons:

The room was not clean, we had to ask for fresh towels daily because they were not changed out during the day. The pool was nasty and they took a diaper off of a child and let it use the bathroom in the pool! The receptionist on our first night could really use an attitude adjustment. We were such an inconvenience to her just by interrupting her Crumbl cookie and Netflix show!

People loud that checked in above me a 1145pm. Parents not controlling their children running the hallways at 1am.

It was a great time of coastal reprive.

Not bad for the price but will probably not book again.
Pros:

Location was great. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

The first room the power was off. The second room a roach crawled across the bathroom floor. I was never offered compensation just yet another room.
