I'm biased when it comes to the Westone as it offers free parking and is perfectly placed for the cricket ground. What more do you need?
It is probably overdue a bit of an update...and a breakfast menu.
The staff were very accommodating, good breakfast.
Reception, and the room we stayed in needs refurnishing, bathroom flooded when showering breakfast room needed cleaning
FOH was very friendly at the desk
The fact there's no AC and the restricted access to a decent coffee in the morning.

No aircon, rooms on too floor are like saunas, needs updating, quite clean but as I said, needs updating. Food is overpriced for the 'microwave' meal I had. Friendly staff is about only plus. OK for contractors, which it was full of. Photos online are not realistic to what is on offer. If you're on a budget working away, then this is OK.
Central and convenient
The room was very hot, radiators where on, and outside temp was 25 degrees at 22:00hrs, room was very hot and not easy to sleep

The rooms are very dated, no air con just a small fan to blow hot air round. The bed creaked badly and the mattress was most uncomfortable one I e ever slept on
