Could have been better
Pros:

Bed was comfotable

Cons:

Booking said $50 refundable deposit. When got to facility it was $200. /thier machine wasnt accepting out MC. So had to withdraw $300 cash.. atm on site only allowed 200 at a time. So got double dinged for service charge... bed was comfortable. But any movement pushed it away from the wall. Drain in sink was broken. So couldnt run water..as stopper was in and couldnt get out

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and it was reasonably priced.
Pros:

I liked that the hotel was within walking distance to the marina where my boat resides.
I liked how the staff was able to accomodate all the extensions that I requested and were able to keep the price reasonable.
Almost all the staff were friendly and easy to deal with, giving assistance when asked.
The bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size that allowed me wheelchair access.
Good access to walking trails and the dog park.
Also good access to the pop up food trucks in Zwicks park.
Good view of the Bay of Quinte.
The grounds are well maintained.
They have a small games room with pool tables and pinball machine, along with a small pool and sauna.
The price for this stay was quite reasonable.

Cons:

I see that there has been money spent on this property recently but maybe if there was a restaurant here again, it may draw more people to it, instead of just a continental breakfast area.
It would have been nice if the breakfast staff had put forth an effort to assist my wife when she asked about gluten free options, instead of just shrugging it off and saying I don't know. She gets very sick if she comes in contact with wheat and I'm sure the packaging the food comes in would have given the ingredients so she could have been better informed if she had given a bit of effort. I think this is something that all hotels should strive to do, offering more options to people who truly do get sick if exposed to gluten.
The room got quite warm and I couldn't find any sign of A/C
Luckily, I normally carry a portable fan with me that helped while getting to sleep.
But overall even with these few complaints, it was a good stay.

Overall, this is a great place to stay if you want to enjoy PEC on a budget.
Pros:

The hotel is ideally situated for B31 concert goers as it is only 30 minutes away and nearly the entire distance can be driven on highway 62.
The hotel grounds are park-like in their setting. Very beautiful.
The person manning the Front Desk when we checked in was friendly, professional and very helpful.

Cons:

The rooms are tired looking and would benefit from some TLC in the form of paint and room furnishings.
The breakfast is rubber-chicken quality.

Decent and Clean Hotel
Pros:

This was a decent, clean hotel. We checked in late (9pm) and there was no one at the front desk for over 10 mins. When she returned, there was no apology and barely any acknowledgement that we were there. Her demeanor was very standoffish and rude, she absolutely should not be working in customer service.
In contrast, the check out staff were so nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent. Theres a mcdonalds and gas station right next door if needed.

Pros:

The staff was very friendly and professional

Cons:

The hotel was very scruffy. I reserved a room with 2 queen beds and got a room with 1 queen bed. It was an adjoining room wi the someone in the adjacent room. As a single woman I felt unsafe.
