Free parking
I changed rooms 4 times within an hour. First room smelled like cigarette smoke and unclean. 2nd room was filthy. Wasn't vacuumed and trash was still on the floor. The bathroom was horribly unclean. 3rd room was cleaned up but air conditioner didn't work. The bathtub was not clean. 4th room was clean and air conditioner worked. The bathtub was a bit better than the others. I was tired of moving and just settled for this. It stunk of mildew and other foul doors. The housekeeper sprayed it with air freshener just like the other rooms I refused to stay in. Marcel the general manager came to the room a couple hours later to apologize. As soon as I opened the door for him, the smell of marijuana was absolutely disgusting. The smell was pungent. I left to go and get dinner. The elevator also smelled like marijuana. When I got to the first floor, Marcel was busy plugging in air fresheners to all the sockets. The smell of the fragrance made me cough because it was so strong. The following day, I found that the comforter which was covered up by a sheet, had a large urine stain on it. I really believe this hotel needs a visit by the inspection department. The entire hotel needs renovations and deep cleaning. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to stay there. Front desk employees have bad attitudes. There's a sign that has quiet hours on it, which no one seemed to comply with. It was loud every night of people running, screaming loudly and laughing through the hallway and extreme floral smell of plugins to cover up the marijuana. One of the locks on the door wasn't working. I felt unsafe. This hotel refused to give a refund even after changing rooms 4 times. This was the worst experience I've ever had. I don't understand why they have a high rating.

Staff upon arrival was rude. She was in mid conversation with a gentleman and picked up the phone while the gentleman wast talking to her. Then proceeded to hold her finger up at him as to shush him. Never a smile never a friendly hello.

Breakfast was bad. No protein, juice tasted powdered. Bread and waffles with no spray so everyone’s waffles stuck. Just horrible all around
The tv and fridge worked
Horrible experience trying to check in. Requested rooms that were adjoining for my family (traveling cross country with our kiddos) was told that it was not possible since I didn’t specifically say I needed that. But I put it in my notes for booking and booked two rooms. Ended up having to split the hall with them which was so uncomfortable. Found out that one room didn’t even lock all the way so that was even more upsetting. Asked for different rooms. “Nope sorry” is all I got. Just all around not good.
The bed, bathroom and table tops were clean. The location was fine, as it was close to the airport and the airport shuttle was free.
Wow, where to start...
This is not necessarily going to be a reflection of the cleaners, because the property was relatively clean. However, this building is so old and worn, and the hotel leadership / HQ has has really dropped the ball here on keeping this hotel up to date.
(i) the hotel has "gym" or fitness room as a facility on their page, which is absolutely a joke. This is a tiny room with a cable machine, a treadmill from the stoneage, a bike you can't use, and a step machine from the 80s. You cannot fit more than two people in the room at once. This is not a functional fitness room, and it would be better just to remove it from the hotel page so as to not trick people who genuinely want to use a fitness room during their stay.
(ii) there were brown fingerprints on the wall in our room. Just gross.
(iii) I don't know what was spilt on the window stiles, but there were brown marks from brown water / moist having dried. Just gross too.
(iv) we tried getting through two of the side doors with our key cards, but I just think the card readers were too old to work.
(v) Coffee maker needs a clean. Even when the coffee machine was empty, the little glass tube that shows coffee content was all brown/black from old coffee. This is unnecessary, and makes me wonder how often this machine is actually cleaned. I also realised that the receptionist was responsible for re-filling coffee when it was empty, despite also having receptionist duties. Having the receptionist also manage breakfast duty is not great.
(vi) The TV remote was so gross and worn; so much that the keys were worn away. I didn't even want to touch it. It's also not a remote that can be cleaned (like other hotel remotes), which made it even grosser to think about.

Ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen die ganze Ausstattung. Frühstück sehr enttäuschend nachdem ich die vielen positiven Anmerkungen hier zum Frühstück gelesen hatte.
Front desk forgot to return my id and had to come back from airport to retrieve it. Almost missed my flight.
