Great retro vibes with friendly staff and clean and comfortable rooms.
Pros:

We enjoyed the vibes at the pool with music playing and the fire pit area outside which allowed our party to spend time together in this communal space. We also enjoyed the retro feel!

Cons:

The bar wasn’t open/attended at 9:30pm - it would have been nice to get a drink before bed. Also there was some noise from the street that did disrupt our sleep a little

Bon rapport qualité prix et bien placé.
Pros:

Bon rapport qualité prix, l’emplacement est bon, la chambre est grande et confortable, la piscine correcte.

Cons:

La quartier craint un peu le soir avec beaucoup de SDF drogués. Mais l’hôtel a un agent de sécurité. Le parking est un peu cher (25$). Et je ne comprends pas pourquoi il n’y a pas de bouilloire dans la chambre.

The location is in a bad part of town, and the rooms have super thin walls so you can hear everything around you.
Pros:

Overall mixed feelings. This hotel has to quite a lot to meet expectations.
Pros:

Great vibe upon entering the hotel. Love the decor in the lobby and rooms. Lovely pool area.

Cons:

Tv in our room did not work even after night manager fixed it once. Terrible lighting in the rooms, great for mood lighting but had to open blinds to see anything during the day and then people can see in the room. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom or fan. No privacy in bathroom with sliding door which doesn’t really shut. Coffee is available at reception in the morning only until 8:00 am when restaurant is open. No towels at the pool when it opened at 8:00 am. If you don’t valet park at $25 a day, limited free parking on the street or metered parking - which is not mentioned in their website.

Absolutely fantastic hotel!
Pros:

The staff was very accommodating as we had arrived early and were able to get into our room early. That was so appreciated! The rooms were clean and well decorated and we really enjoyed the pool and bar and restaurant. Everything was fantastic!

Cons:

We were surprised at how many homeless were in this area and one actually approached us right outside the hotel and it was a bit alarming.

Nice themed hotel but wouldn’t return
Pros:

Love the themed look , and the pool was nice . The beds were full size definitely not queen but still comfortable considering.

Cons:

We lost power at 11pm to the whole hotel until right at 1 am it got hot fast in our room . The location was surrounded by so many homeless people and shut locations . The area also was super loud all night with drag racing and piped vehicles ! We were on the 6th floor and it was all night long with the sounds .

Pros:

Rooms are always nice and clean!

Cons:

This time the pool was extremely cold, in the past the pool was heated from what I remember, also in the past they had pool service. This time I had to go the bar which they were extremely busy n short stuff… they forgot about my order n it took them about an hour to get it out :(

I was not able to stay the night; I had to check out early due to the power outage.
Pros:

The updates are great and fun. The location is in the heart of some good restaurants and live music. There is a great Growers Market directly across from the hotel on Saturdays.

Cons:

There was a power outage, I know the hotel had no control over this but there was no communication. The power was out for almost 5 hours and without windows that opened the room became unbearable hot and stuffy.

I came for work for a few days - surrounded by homeless, loud guests all night, sirens all night

The only upside was the distance to the airport - tons of homeless people everywhere
