Perfect room, corner room with huge wrap around balcony over looking the beach. Gorgeous pools and service.
On the weekends, you need to get to the pool early as the beds get booked by people not staying in the hotel

Overall positive experience from check-in to departure. Staff was friendly and helpful. Likewise, I was provided a nice room upgrade, which I appreciated. The Aguasal restaurant was also very good. I enjoyed a tasty dinner and the staff there was also friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Miami.

Stayed in a suite which was a nice room, but the attention to detail and the rest of the property were pretty lacking. We had requested a crib on checkin and it was not there when we arrived so we asked them to bring one up shortly. This happens sometimes, but even after that, they still needed to be called and reminded to bring the crib up. They hadn't properly stocked the room and we needed to call to request basic things such as body wash.
The most egregious thing was that we were told on checkin and upon escort to the room that "everything in the minibar is free". There were no prices listed anywhere in the room or on the website, and yet we were charged for things we took from the minibar. However, we never received an itemized bill so we don't even know what they charged us for things.
Just overall a pretty disappointing experience given we usually have great experiences in Andaz's and Hyatt's in general.
The hotel oversells pool day passes to non-guests so the pool is overcrowded on the weekends. Not recommended if you are looking to casually enjoy the pool and the beach—it is chaotic and unpleasant.

From the attentiveness of the bell men (Mcalister, Harold, and Rueben) and valets, to the hotel desk and housekeeping, the attention to detail and noticing of needs was superior- above and beyond! Beautiful, comfortable, very clean rooms! Love this hotel!!
