This is THE place to stay in Charlotte, NC!!
Pros:

Quality Inn & Suites University Area-Charlotte is just right off I-85...VERY easily accessed from and to the interstate! My wife and I have previously stayed here and we prefer it over ANY other motel in Charlotte! The manager and staff are GREAT...ALWAYS SUPER nice and helpful! The check-in and check-out processes are VERY easy and fast! The rooms are VERY nice, well maintained, VERY comfortable and SUPER clean! The parking area is safe and secure! The dining area is also SUPER nice and CLEAN with a wide variety of breakfast items to "get your day going"!! Finally, if you are looking for a VERY NICE place to stay for one night or more, look no further...this is THE #1 place to spend your.time...I HIGHLY recommend Quality Inn & Suites University Area-Charlotte!! Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts and feelings...See you next year!!

Everything is dirty on the outside, and inside it smells like urine; plus, there was feces in the toilet bowl. It is very neglected and filthy.

Supposed to b refunded for both nights

It was right off the interstate

Cons:

It was run down, the room was dingy and the bathroom wreaked of urine. The A/C also didn’t operate properly.

Just no! Absolutely don’t stay here! Bed bugs!
Pros:

What did I like about the property? Absolutely nothing ! Had bed bugs!!! The rooms were absolutely filthy . I’ve stayed in some pretty rough places and I told myself it was just one night it would be okay, but when I seen the room my mouth dropped to the floor I couldn’t not stay in there for another second . And all the front desk said was “we clean them, I can get you a new room” like no thanks??? Fix the problems ! Fix the bed bug problems, fix the filth, fix the crackheads from snooping at your vehicles fix it all!

Pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price I paid
Pros:

Huge bed plus a sofa bed, staff at breakfast was awesome, he MADE more eggs for us and was very attentive.
Close to some restaurants

Next time, despite how exhausted I am, I will drive the two hours home before staying here.
Cons:

The check-in staff was rude and non-responsive. He took my card and ID, walked away with no communication, and proceeded to warm his food up instead of assisting me. I had to knock on the glass and ask for my information back before he told me what he was doing. This is not a great idea nor did it make me feel safe as a traveler.
