Very simple design.
It was disappointing that the staff was rude when I encountered a privacy issue right after check-in. I was allocated to a room which used to be a connecting room with a door leading to the next room. In the first evening, the door popped open and the guest staying in the next room was peering through the door into my room. This was totally unexpected, and I asked one of the receptionists to change the room as I wasn’t feeding secure enough. The staff kept explaining to me that the issue might have been caused because a cleaner forgot to lock the door. I did understand the reason, but still not feeling comfortable with the room, requesting alternative room. The staff was annoyed that kept rejecting my request saying that it’s fully booked.
It ended up that another staff accepted my request and I was given a different room. I still can’t understand why he pretended as if there’s nothing he can do and my concern was trivial now that the cause was clarified. I doubt his professionalism.
