Residence Inn by Marriott Naples

We went to Naples to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The hotel was under construction; the lobby wasn't accessible because the tile was being removed, and dust was everywhere. Our room (303) was great, until we were preparing for bed and noticed black bugs on our pillows, on the side of the mattress, on the lamp shade, and on both night stands. I noticed the front office at 9:05 pm. I was told an engineer was coming, no one showed, so I called again at 9:45 pm and asked for a room change. We were moved to room 215. I expect better from the Marriott Brand. If we had known about the facilities construction, we could have selected another property. I have photos and videos of the live black small bugs from the room.

Lo único que creo pueden cambiar es el horario de la piscina. La cierran muy temprano, por lo menos debían dejar a los huéspedes hasta las 10.00pm, debido a que las personas van a disfrutar de la playa y cuando regresan quieren estar relax en la piscina y en el área de los BBq y a las 8.00pm hay que irse. Eso es lo único que creo deben cambiar. Gracias

No hay nada para reprochar

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay, particularly because we had stayed at this property around 10 years ago and had a genuinely positive experience.

The room had multiple maintenance issues that should have been identified and addressed before a guest checked in. The air conditioning was excessively noisy, the dishwasher was heavily rusted, several drawers opened by themselves, and the sofa cushions repeatedly slid out when sitting down. We also experienced brownish/discoloured water in the bathtub and an issue with the sink.

Housekeeping was also not to an acceptable standard. During our 7-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned. Towels were replaced twice and a bar of soap was left once, but we had to request additional shower gel. On the final day, at around 2pm, a cleaner attempted to enter the room while we were having a siesta.

We had specifically requested a top-floor room approximately six months before arrival and reminded the hotel again two days before check-in. Despite this, we were allocated a middle-floor room directly next to the laundry room. The repeated slamming of the laundry-room door was noticeable, particularly during the afternoons.

The hotel staff spoke proudly about the refurbishment when we arrived, which made the condition of the room particularly disappointing. While I cannot comment on exactly what work was included in the refurbishment, several items that appeared newer or replaced were themselves poorly maintained.

We chose to return to this property because of our previous positive experience. Unfortunately, the standard we experienced this time was significantly below what we expected from a Marriott property.

Overall, the combination of maintenance problems, inadequate housekeeping and the failure to accommodate a long-standing room request made this a disappointing stay.

La limpieza de la habitación. Solo cambian las toallas día por medio pero no limpian los cuartos, el piso siempre sucio y el baño también.

Strand ist zu Fuß etwas weit - es gibt beim Public Beach einige kostenpflichtige Parkplätze, die aber oft belegt sind - beste Chancen hat man morgens.

La habitación 314 tenía un olor insoportable, pedí un desodorante pero nunca fui atendido. El mal olor permaneció hasta el último minuto
