Hotel in middle of remodel which we were not made aware of at booking. Kids would have enjoyed the pool but again not told at reservation it was unavailable. Bathtub was holding water and had not been cleaned. They did tend to the issue however.
Location was perfect
Atmosphere was a little hectic due to construction
Rooms were great
Should have had a good discount due to inconvenience of construction
Kendra the hostess at breakfast was FANTASTIC. Very polite, friendly got me my coffee lol
Pool could have been open. But we understand. Hotel is getting a new fresh look
Even with construction going on, this room and location met all my expectations. I love how many levels this Holiday Inn had. My stay was quiet. Breakfast is served at 0630. I will stay here again.
We enjoyed our time at this location. Although it's under a makeover construction, we were never bothered by it. Staff was great and the room was great. We will be back to see how it looks after the remodel.
The staff was very accommodating and our room was comfortable. The amenities were all neat and in working order.Because they happened to be into a big remodeling effort the place was not very aesthetic as the atrium was nothing but concrete. Also, I was surprised at the $8 parking fee for their own outdoor parking in a suburban area. The renovation is supposed to be finished in July.
The place was a mess, it was under construction. Only one elevator worked, and it was slow. The Help was very nice and helpful, but was the only good thing I can say about the experience. Very disappointed that I did not find out about the construction until I arrived
Hotel is getting a whole new remodel- looking like it’s going to be amazing!!
Great in distances to places needed to go to, very quiet and nice game room to spend time in. Room was very clean and towels refreshed with no problem
Anything I needed, they provided cheerfully. I never had to repeat a request, and it was always done in a very timely manner. Special shout out to the overnight staff, Nichole, Elijah, Liz, and Ashley! I wish you all the best!
On the corporate side, however, I got an email saying I could use a digital checkout and when I couldn't figure out if I had an "account" to be able to do it (I am a member, but I don't remember an account), a customer service ninja in corporate (Alex) "helped" me as follows:
Alex: Hi there! Do you already have an account with IHG?
Me: I am a member. Is that the same thing?
A: If you are already a member and have an account then you should know what your password and username is if you don't then for username, you may use either your member number or email on the account.
If you don't know your password, you may request a password reset via the forgot password option on the IHG App.
M: Hey, here's an idea. Why don't you ask me for my info and see if I have an account?
A:
I still rate it five stars because the local folks deserve it.
The room, as well as the staff, were great. The only real complaint is the fact that we weren't prewarned about the construction. We planned to use the pool that was closed, as well as sleep in past 8, which wasn't an option due to the noise. They really should have let us know, as we booked way in advance.
Very, very nice people work there! They were remodeling but it what’s not an inconvenience in any way. It’s going to be beautiful! Rooms were spacious, very clean. Located around everything you would need, but quiet . I would stay there again!
Very nice facility. The staff was professional and accommodating. Even with ongoing construction, it was an enjoyable and restful evening. It was sorely needed.
Under construction including jack hammer from 9am to 6pm every day no pool available fitness room felt like it was 95deg air conditioning wasn't working. Went to the bar at 8pm one night for some food and drinks nobody there spoke with the front desk said it was open until 10pm well apparently they weren't aware there was no one there. Terrible experience is putting it nicely for what I paid even half that would be to much.
The hotel room was absolutely amazing. Nice beds. Nice pillows. Very good breakfast. Food was fantastic. The hotel front staff are amazing. People very very nice and friendly. The hotel is under construction but that did not bother us. We will come back when the pool and everything is renovated. Nice place to stay
Close to WKU - friendly staff
None of the ice-makers worked. It was under construction. The air-conditioning in my room was leaking and making noise. You couldn’t control the thermostat, the shower rod was loose in the wall.
Booked my room in November 2025 for my stay April 29th-May 3rd 2026. At no time was I informed via e-mail, text, nor call prior to arriving on the 29th, that the hotel would be under major construction and all amenities would not be available. I picked this hotel specifically for its amenities listed when booking so that my pregnant spouse and myself would have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, which did not happen. On top of these issues I walk into my room to find even the room was not fully functional as listed online when booking. There was no couch in my room, and the refrigerator was sitting infront of the bed not ready to be used. I also walk into the bathroom in my room to find a large brown recluse spider(venomous)on the wall next to the mirror. I brought these issues up to the front desk in the lobby. Only after asking for a discount myself did they finally agree and I was told they would discount the rate to $90 a day, which also did not happen. I was charged $94 a day for 3 days, and $104 for one day plus all fees and taxes. If there was an option to give 0/5 stars I would. Extremely unhappy with the price I was charged for my stay when I had to leave the hotel to go elsewhere for amenities I am paying for at the hotel.
Clean establishment and friendly staff.
Upon arrival we were greeted with a construction/remodel sign from 6am to 6pm. Then was told while trying to check in at 3:00pm, there were no rooms ready. So we waited in a make shift lobby for over 30 minutes for a room. First room assigned was already occupied by other guests. Luckily no one was in the room at the time. They did comp breakfast which would normally cost 15.99 pp for our troubles. That was the first I had heard seen or read regarding breakfast cost and parking costs. Our room was very nice, clean. Bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. The hotel itself will be very nice once remodeling is complete. Staff was apologetic and helpful.
