Super 8 by Wyndham Wisconsin Dells

I didn't like how cars were parked right outside the window,lights facing in .

It advertised swimming pool and all that but its going through renovation. My issue is you are not giving any discounts for swimming pool not being available then why have you not renovated during winter in the off season

People coming to eat breakfast should be asked to wear their shoes, children included.

The pool appeared clean. It looked nice and blue but the hot tube was completely disgusting. You could see floating dirt, hair and much more. The water was green looking with a huge ring around the entire tube. My sister was crying because some mucus or something similar was floating around in the hot tube and got on her. I just wouldn’t go back at that experience. One of the reasons we decided to go there was because of the hot tube. After the hot tube I refused to eat the complementary breakfast. On the bright said check out was at 11am.

The room had a big on the bed, fridge was not operational, a hole in the wall, and was not cleaned well. We had been on the road for 19 hrs or we would have gone elsewhere.

I was in room 313. The shower pull up diverter only worked half way so I was showering with only half the water pressure and the other half was still coming out of the spout. The pillows had some stains so that gave me an ick kinda. The towels were rough, does not feel good on my baby skin and sensitive face.

Location wasn’t very convenient

I would never stay at this Super 8 again.

As soon as we checked in, I saw a sign saying the pool and hot tub were closed. The only reason I booked this hotel was to use the hot tub, so I immediately went to the front desk. The employee told me we could still use the pool and that the hot tub would be fixed and open around 6:00 p.m. Based on that information, my son and I decided to stay.

We returned around 7:00 p.m., and the hot tub was still not working. I went back to the front desk, and the manager apologized and told me he would give me 50% off my stay when I checked out the next day. I thanked him and trusted that he would honor his promise, even though I had booked through http://Booking.com.

The next morning, a different employee told me the manager wouldn’t be back until around 12:30 p.m., so we spent some time in Wisconsin Dells and returned later. When I spoke with the manager, he completely changed his story. He claimed he had only offered a refund if I had checked out the night before. That made no sense because it was already around 7:00 p.m. when he made the promise, and my http://Booking.com reservation could no longer be canceled at that point. He then told me there was nothing he could do and that I needed to contact http://Booking.com instead.

I feel like I was persuaded to stay based on the promise that the hot tub would be fixed and that I would receive a 50% discount, neither of which happened.

To make matters worse, our room had a serious safety issue. The smoke detector was completely missing from the wall, with only exposed wires hanging where it should have been. Looking back, that is completely unacceptable in a hotel room.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The amenities advertised were unavailable, the manager did not honor what he told me, and there was a significant safety concern in the room. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to others.

No one came to the desk after being instructed to use phone to call for help....no one picked up or came up. Went to a different hotel.
