Nothing. It was clearly not being cared for.
It was not clean at all. Room was musty, front looked unkept. Maybe short staffed. The management and company clearly do not care about the property and their patrons. I don’t think the sheets were changed… There was hair in the bed and did not look New. Unfortunately, it was our last resort as we drove in late. Needed a place to.
The place was nice and clean for us. The staff here is so nice and accommodating. Enjoyed our stay to end my road trip.
There was little I liked about this "hotel" I guess the location was ok.
When I walked in to check in there was no one at the desk, I rang the bell and nothing. I then called them and a woman answered and sounded irritated that I bothered her. Once checked in I found my room. There was this heavy perfume smell in the hallways like they are trying to cover a smell. In my room there were blood stains on the blankets, mold in the vents, and tears in the curtains(I took photos). The TV and phone did not work, when I asked for help with them I was threatened with "cancelling my reservation." We were booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1. I would recommend the econo lodge across the street, at least there you know what you're in for.
L'hôtel est proche des autoroutes donc facile d'accès et pour aller ailleurs
Il n'y avait pas de coffret de sécurité pour y laisser passeport et objets de valeur
The hotel is clearly dated and in need of fresh paint and over similar repair. However, the bigger problem is the damp moldy smell in the guest rooms, the chemical smell in the public areas, and the general uncleanliness of the rooms (e.g., stains on the sheet).
The hallways reeked of air freshener. Each time we opened our hotel room door there was the distinct smell of “wet dog”. The location was convenient but I was expecting more from Ascend Hotels. There were high weeds and thistles in the areas that once has been landscaped. This hotel has potential with TLC and a better cleaning regimine. Invest in proper cleaning, not toxic artificial scents to cover up the problem. Maybe just replace carpets altogether. Breakfast was dair but would have been better with hot sausages and eggs. Unfortunately ours were cold. Convenient location but very budget hotel.
Cleanliness was good
Although refrigeration was cold freezer needed defrost was still able to store my insulin overnight and re freeze my ice packs for travel next day which people don’t understand is the the most important thing for travelers
The hotel gives off the vibe of a motel. Definitely not a Choice Collection.
The room was very dated ( which is fine) but dirty. The mattress was disgustingly stained. Was missing a sheet. The sheet that was on the bed looked like it was not changed neither were the pillow cases.
I had to go to the e front desk and ask for a clean sheet and pillows, because pillows in the room were hard as a rock. The guy gave me the sheet and pillow cases. They supposedly didn’t have any pillows.
The sink was not draining.
Breakfast was ok. Minimal options but the staff was on top of filling up the stations.
This is the cheapest option in town as far as stay goes. So you get what you pay for I guess.
The property is modest but very well maintained with complimentary breakfast and other amenities. Plenty of parking and quite affordable rates. Check iti out!
bathroom clean / mattress comfortable /water pressure good
soiled sheets/stained comforter/ carpet needs replacing or cleaning? shower curtain mold / not the king room pictured online that we booked
la situation géographique
chambre très petite...piètre literie, salle de bain minable
Everything was amazing, from the breakfast to the room cleaning, and the management was just great, This is my fifth time staying there, and we always get treated the same way. Love the place.
This place is shady. There had not been anyone at the desk the past 2 nights. My smoke alarm was chirping. I called the desk. No answer. I walked to the desk and stood there waiting from 11:30pm to 12am. I called the numbers listed at the desk and got generic voicemails. I had to climb up to the ceiling to finally turn the alarm off. The next morning I got a call from the number I dialed at the desk the night before. The lady said she had been helping another guest. For 30 minutes she was helping one guest? There were maybe 4 cars at the most in the parking lot. The next night at midnight I was awoken to a woman screaming and crying outside my window. I called the front desk and of course no answer. I called the lady that had returned my call earlier the day before and she said she would have someone check it out. While “someone” was checking it out, the woman outside my window kept crying and hollering that she hated the man outside with her and not to touch her and that she wanted to go home. I kept hearing the man say they needed to go inside. He finally got her inside (the outside door was next to my room). Right after the lady calls me back and says they have checked inside and out and they couldn’t find anyone or anything out of the ordinary. I checked out 2 days early that morning. Also, there was no swing bar lock on my door, so anyone could come in at anytime if they had a key card.
Location and staff
I didn’t know beforehand that pets were allowed in the rooms. I didn’t inquire. Next time I will.
nothing
When asking to check in early at 130 PM I was told no, when finally checking in was told if I have pets in my room I have to take them whenever I leave the room, The room smelt bad and there was a large yellow stain on the carpet, The price for the room is way too high.
Poorly staffed. Previous quest wash cloth in shower. There was hair on blankets.
The quality of this property is that of a $25/night motel. It’s dirty, the doors from the outside to the room hallways barely work and the window screens are broken - both of which create a safety issue. The hallways are dirty and smell like smoke and febreze. The shower curtain had mold on it and the bedding looked like it had never been washed. Cannot believe choice hotels allows this.
Never came to clean the room as much as I asked
The rooms weren’t clean
