rundum zufrieden
Pros:

die Lage. Ich nutze das Sheraton gerne bei Urlaubsreisen, wenn der Flug morgens los geht. Da ich mindestens 2,5 Std. Anfahrtzeit nach Düsseldorf habe, ist die Anreise am Vorabend und Übernachtung vor Ort stressfreier.

Das Bett war super bequem. Die direkte Lage zum Flughafen ist top!

Cons:

Das Klo, v.a. die Klobrille war nicht gut gereinigt. Am Bademantel waren braune Flecken und ein Handtuch hatte ein größeres Loch.

Pros:

Dichtbij Terminal, in 5 minuten bij de checkincounters. Mooie binnentuin, stil ondanks vliegveld. Goed restaurant.

Good place to stay, but..
Pros:

The room was spacious, clean, and the hotel was very close to the airport (literally a crosswalk away). The staff was very friendly

Although the room and the property itself were very good, I'd advise being careful about handing over your credit card after you've already paid through Booking.com.

I wanted to use the minibar, so the staff asked for my credit card to authorize a €50 security deposit, which they said would be released after my stay. I agreed and gave them my card.

That same night, at around 1:00 AM, I received a notification from my banking app showing a €900 charge authorization, even though my room had already been fully paid for. When I asked the staff about it, they told me it was another temporary deposit that had been applied by mistake because of a system error. This would never have happened if I hadn't provided my card for the minibar.

Although the authorization was eventually released and I got my money back about two weeks later, having almost €1,000 suddenly unavailable while staying in a foreign country could be a serious problem for many travelers.

To make matters worse, the minibar, which was the only reason I gave them my card in the first place, wasn't even working.

Cons:

rude staff at the reception, forcing us to pay a refundable deposit upon arrival for potential room damage. It was NOT described in the property posting. Abusive practice!
