Everything food room and staff were great
I was charged twice by booking.com and again at the hotel. I have made a complaint but nothing has come of it.
When I asked at reception they said speak to Booking.com, when I spoke to them they said to sort with the hotel.
No-one would deal with it but I am out of pocket $820.50, having paid $978.52 at the hotel, total of $1,799.02 for 2 nights!!!
Close to airport. Reasonable price. Breakfast included.
Parking - event on at stadium next door impacted parking.

Did not have a TV remote for 2 days, had to ask 4x to get one sorted. Room had 2x bath towels only, no face cloth or hand towels.

Property is good nice and clean
They didn’t provide any drinking water. When I was leaving the property, I asked reception about it and was told there was no water available. The staff member said I could drink water from the bathroom sink because the hotel only provides an empty jug.
I found that quite inappropriate, as I don’t feel comfortable drinking water from a bathroom sink. On top of that, when I asked about the water, the staff member replied, “Is this your first time staying at a hotel in New Zealand?” which came across as rude and disrespectful.
I have travelled to places like Dubai, Bali, and India, and I have also stayed at many hotels across New Zealand, but I have never been treated this way before. Most places make guests feel welcome and comfortable, which is why this experience was disappointing. Because of this experience, I don’t think I will be booking with Ramada again.
