Bad smell coming from the kitchen to the rooms from the afternoon till the evening in order to prepare to foods for the restaurant.
The property is well located next to the river and accessible to all the attractions nearby.
It is in a densely crowded area and traffic is terrible. The hotel is very basic and limited amenities.
The location is perfect, right on the river and close to the sun and moon pagodas. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and had everything we needed.
The room had a smell of stale smoke although there were signs in the room stating no smoking this clearly had not been adhered to by a previous guest which was a shame.
What a fabulous stay here, great amenities and an absolute great and attentive staff! We had a very comfortable stay and highly recommended!

It’s outdated decor. Our suit was not cleaned properly.
Staff barely speaks english making it difficult to communicate when mostly tourist stays in the hotel.

Small room and bed.No balcony.No bathroom slipper.No complimentary drinks except water and tea bag.
The hotel itself is very clean and grand as expected from 5*. The room itself was a lot smaller than expected but was clean and had a connecting room which is helpful for families.
Housecleaning staff were rude. They were not happy when we told them we were still in the room and asked if they could come back later. They wanted to clean around us with 2 young kids (as an adult was in the shower) and was annoyed that we wouldn’t let them. Reception staff on the other hand were great.

We had booked club twin room.Room was smaller than expected.Bed enough for single person per bed only.No bathroom slippers provided.Freeze was empty.Many 3-4 stars provide free drinks,water in China.View was amazing though.
