Enjoyed the visits by the house troop of capuchin however not the 'presents' left on our balcony!

The view from our hotel room was incredible which led to an amazing start of our trip. Having early access to the trails was awesome as we were able to avoid big crowds. Service from everyone --- check in, check out, restaurant (specifically Carmen, Kevin the chef, Hosts (Alessandra?), all the servers) and pool attendants were all amazing. Even the designated hotel drivers we booked to go into town, specifically Orlando, was incredible. And when my husband left his wallet at the hotel, the person we contacted in guest services made every effort to have delivery service come to the airport! We cannot say enough good things about the service and this hotel.
From the moment we arrived at the lobby, all the way to dinner time and breakfast the next morning, everything was nothing but a memorable experience! All staff at Gran Melia were friendly and kind, full of smiles.
A special mention to Natalia Rodriguez from Res team who answered all my questions prior to our stay. Guadalupe from Guest Service team. Lastly thank you GM & GEM for the surprise gift the room to make our celebration even more memorable!

Staying at Gran Meliá Iguazú was honestly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, everything felt surreal, the view of the falls, the atmosphere, the service, the food, and the attention to every detail.
Waking up surrounded by nature and hearing the sound of the waterfalls felt like something out of a movie. The hotel manages to be luxurious and peaceful at the same time, creating an experience that is impossible to compare.
Every single member of the staff made me feel welcomed and cared for, always with kindness and genuine hospitality. The sunsets, the pool overlooking the falls, the incredible rooms, and the entire energy of the place made this trip truly special.
I have traveled to many places, but Gran Meliá Iguazú gave me a feeling that very few places in the world can offer. Without a doubt, it was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, and a memory I will carry with me forever.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at.
Esteban in the VIP lounge area was amazing. He took care of our every need. Our view of the falls was incredible. There were monkeys on the balcony and we saw lots of birds while having coffee in the morning. We went on the hiking trails early before the rest of the tourists arrived. It is a pricy hotel but if you can swing it go for at least one night.
It is hard to say enough good things about my stay at Gran Melia. The most important is by far the staff - everyone was absolutely delightful from start to finish, including Lourdes the concierge, Gisela and Magdalena in the spa, Americo at the door, and all of the awesome receptionists, as well as everyone in the restaurants. I truly felt exceptionally welcomed! The room was comfortable, the food was delicious. Of course, anyone looking here is certainly coming to see Iguazu falls, and there is without question no better place to stay. The view was unbeatable, the location supreme. Do not think twice, it is certainly worth the splurge!
PS - watch out for the monkeys, they aren’t kidding
