Proximity to waterfront
Other than the gentleman who checked me in, the desk staff was unhelpful and blamed Booking.com for the wrong room type instead of fixing it. Was promised a partial refund and did not, to my knowledge, receive one.
Al at the front desk was amazing. So kind and interested in us and helpful. The location was superb, and the hotel was spacious and comfortable. Our room was wonderful for a two night stay. There are portions that have been renovated, and I can tell it will be a wonderful place again once they finish renovations. It truly is a special place.
The gentleman there the second evening we stayed was rather terse ans rude. There were some places that could have used vacuuming more regularly just to keep appearances up and to the standard the hotel is trying to achieve.

Plymouth is a beautiful place. Hotel is conveniently located near water and downtown. The pool was great but spa tub was broken.

Attended the Morales wedding at the1620 and it was such fun! One bartender did not know how to make a drink but the line was long for your more competent bartender Rick. Keep him employed as long as you can. Great attitude, quality drink and services the bulk of the wedding crowd. Rick USA great bartender.
