Coup de coeur
Pros:

Un hotel de taille humaine avec un charme fou, dans un ancien cinema restauré avec goût, dans le cœur historique de Kampot. Restaurant et piscine tres agréables. Décoration soignée. Personnel adorable.

L’équipe est superbe, attentionnée, chaleureuse. Les chambres sont très agréables et joliment décorées dans un esprit art déco. Le petit déjeuner est également très bien et complet. On recommande sans hésiter !

A perfect haven in Kampot

This is a great little hotel in the heart of Kampot, a wonderful haven after a day of touring! The breakfast is great, I loved the pool, and the staff is very accommodating. Great value for money!

Nice stay
Pros:

The common areas and the room have a well thought decor. Nice breakfast although it is not a buffet and limited choice. The staff is kind and welcoming. Good position in the city center.

Cons:

There is no lift. Payment by card is highly discouraged as they prefer cash. They charge you with extra fee if you decide to pay by card (this is the only occasion we have to do that during our stay in Cambodia). Trips or tours organized by hotel are very expensive (the quote we were given for a tuk tuk transport was double what we paid by organizing it ourselves). Despite the room being nice and confortable the price we paid was excessive compared to other hotels we stayed of same level.

L’esmorzar fet al moment, molt bó.

Pros:

L’accueil est chaleureux et sympathique. C’est une petite équipe qui donne un côté « familial » à l’hotel. Le petit est bon, les chambres sont propres et bien isolées.

Hotel Old Cinema is a must for any trip to Kampot - you won't want to leave!
Pros:

Hotel Old Cinema caters for a range of dietary needs. All meals are excellent. Preparation, presentation and flavour are all there! For one vegan, and one coeliac, the menu was fantastic! Dining area is adjacent to the bar - you can linger as long as you like. The pool is also divine!

Cons:

Absolutely nothing! Such welcoming hosts and staff. The Art Deco building itself, and all the decorative features of that era are a feast for your eyes! Colours pop, differing environments are cleverly separated by internal gardens, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Make time to just to experience the hotel itself. The bar is a knockout and the drinks are fabulous - alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

The atmosphere is unique, and every detail has been thoughtfully designed. Both the lobby and the rooms are full of character and make this a very special place to stay.

What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was genuinely warm, welcoming and helpful—it never felt forced, just sincere hospitality.

If you're looking for a place with character, a great atmosphere and truly friendly people, this is definitely the place to stay in Kampot. Highly recommended!
