A stay that went south
Pros:

The hotel looks fairly new and modern. The rooms come with AC. With the exception of the manager, every other staff member I dealt with was friendly and pleasant.

Cons:

The AC in my room seemed to stop working around midnight and was off by the morning. Breakfast was okayish.

The main issue was the ants. When I arrived I noticed one or two but was too tired to think much of it and went to sleep. When I woke up and opened the curtains, the room was full of them — they were crawling onto my bags, and I had to shake them off my belongings.

When I raised this with the manager, she was, in my experience, immediately defensive and hostile. I’ve stayed in many hotels and have never been treated this way as a guest. I asked for a refund and was refused, told I should have reported it earlier, and informed that ants are “normal in the villages.” Also, manager informed me that the ants problem has occurred before. For a hotel presented as three stars, that was hard to accept. I received a single verbal apology and nothing more, and was very disappointed by how it was handled. I felt like it’s my fault I even reported this.

Pros:

Perfect hotel for an overnight stop during a road trip. It’s located very close to the highway, making it super convenient. There is plenty of free parking, and the restaurant serves generous portions

Cons:

The only downside was the air conditioning. The room had AC, but it was not strong enough and the settings were quite limited. On a hot day, the room stayed really warm, which made it less comfortable.

Klimaanlage Fehlanzeige!
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr nett.

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage war den Temperaturen überhaupt nicht gewachsen. Zudem war der Balkon sehr aufgeheizt. Die Klimaanlage lief, trotz der hohen Temperaturen, nur im Sparprogramm. Ich habe kaum geschlafen!
