We have stayed here before and it has been a good location for us. Not sure we will stay here again.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful.
Our room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The pool had water in it but was closed due to some mechanical problem.
The breakfast was typical for American hotels, which means poor quality of food. The coffee was weak, Eggbeaters not real eggs and typical processed breads and muffins.

Pros:

Very high in price. Breakfast was terrible, powdered eggs and sausage was like hocky pucks. No coffee in the rooms or clocks. Maid walked in on me in the bed at 8am when I had a do not disturb sign on the door. Front desk guy was a butt. Carpet torn, wall paper peeling. For $161 I'm not off point.

Very disappointing and leaving me very unhappy.
Pros:

Breakfast was a little skimpy, but adequate. The staff there was helpful.

Cons:

The location is poor, away from the downtown and main attractions of Santa Fe.
The clerk who checked me in was abrupt, argumentative, and downright rude. When I asked for a bottle of water, he said they didn't give any, unless I was a Rewards Member. I told him I was actually a member, he again grumped at me, saying the reservation didn't say so. I had to give him a copy of my Membership confirmation to prove it, at which time he finally gave me some water. This very poor exchange at checkin left me with a very bad impression and made my whole stay a disappointment.
I was looking for restaurant recommendations and called the front desk to inquire, and was told that a certain Mex. restaurant was excellent and highly recommended. We went there and had a TERRIBLE mesl, the worst meal we had on the entire 9 day trip.
I felt misled and betrayed, again leaving me with a bad impression and making for a disappointing stay.
I had to go to a separate floor to find an available ice machine, again a disappointment.
Believe me, I'll never go to this hotel nor EVER refer it to anyone.
Poorest stay on a 9 day trip.
