Pros:

Das Zimmer war wirklich schön! Man hat sich ein wenig wie im älteren Japan gefühlt. Bevor zu viele westliche Einflüsse das Wohnen in Japan verändert haben. Tatami und eine Badewanne aus Holz waren unser Highlight. Natürlich gibt es die modernen Einflüsse und Annehmlichkeiten.

Cons:

Aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit in Japan hat es leider sehr muffig und schimmelig gerochen. Das hat mir leider sehr zu schaffen gemacht. An vielen Stellen findet man den Schimmel leicht und ich empfehle das Zimmer nicht wenn sie kleine Kinder haben, Schwanger sind oder an Asthma leiden. Die Matratzen und die Kissen sind steinhart.
Uns fehlte zudem eine Mikrowelle.

Pros:

We absolutely loved this hotel! It strikes the perfect balance between modern design and a cozy, traditional atmosphere, with incredible attention to detail throughout. The room was very spacious, featuring extremely comfortable beds, a traditional futon option, a lovely sitting area, and a fantastic bathroom with both a shower and a tub. The location was great, and the staff were exceptionally attentive.

There was nothing we didn't like; everything was spot on.

Perfect for our first time in Kyoto
Pros:

Everything- location, room size, equipment, cleanliness, quietness … all gave a more than 4 star feeling to this place.

Cons:

Nothing - other people might need breakfast or other amenities.
A/C was a bit tricky - even at the lowest fan speed I felt it was too strong for sleeping

Very spacious Japanese style room.Nice bathroom with toitleries and pyjamas. Metro station is 3 blocks from the hotel. Many restaurants in the area. Nijo-jo castle is within walking distance

אני ממש לא ממליצה על המלון הזה. למרות שהעיצוב יפה, החדר היה מלוכלך מאוד: הקירות היו מוכתמים והיה אבק על המנורות, הפרחים וחפצי הנוי. לא החליפו את נייר הטואלט וגם לא את כוסות התה המשומשות.

חיבור האינטרנט היה גרוע, והטלוויזיה לא עבדה לא עם YouTube ולא עם Netflix. כשביקשנו עזרה, אנשי הצוות פשוט אמרו שהאינטרנט גרוע ושאין להם מה לעשות בנוגע לזה. הפתרון היחיד שהם הציעו היה להחזיר לנו את הכסף ושנעזוב את המלון. הסברנו שהזמנת מלון אחר ברגע האחרון תעלה לנו הרבה יותר כסף, אבל הם לא הציעו שום פתרון אמיתי.

אחרי השעה 22:00 אין בכלל אנשי צוות במלון. במקרה של תקלה דחופה, בעיה בחדר או אפילו כשנגמר נייר הטואלט, אין אף אחד שיכול לעזור.

החלק הגרוע ביותר היה בחדר האמבטיה: המנגנון שסוגר את המים נשבר, ולא היה אפשר לעצור את זרימת המים. המים זרמו במשך כל הלילה. בנוסף, המייבש כיווץ את כל הבגדים שלי.

בין הלכלוך, הציוד המקולקל, חוסר העזרה המוחלט וכל הבגדים שנהרסו, זו הייתה חוויה מרגיזה ומגעילה במיוחד. המלון הזה באמת הרס חלק מהטיול שלנו. להתרחק מהמקום הזה.

Amazing position, our room - Bali - was perfect: big, clean, with a free washing machine, an amazing tub and the biggest and most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.
