Stunning vacation with long walks, great sleep and fabulous meals
Pros:

We loved everything about this hotel, location, size of rooms, breakfast, dinner and staff!

Cons:

Nothing really, would be the icing on the cake if it had a gym and full size pool though

when we go out staff on reception desk give other guest our room key to go in( apparently guest said at reception desk he has booked this room , staff should check in system thats this room was taken already) . When we back from trip we found on bed someone stuff and card in electricity already

They shouldn’t charge more for a lake view room for a room that the window does not open.
Cons:

I booked a lake-view room expecting to be able to enjoy the beautiful view and get some fresh air. Unfortunately, the room had only a small window that could not be opened, so we were unable to properly enjoy the view or have any fresh air in the room.

On top of that, for approximately half of our stay, we were unable to shower in our room due to problems with the hot water. After I complained, the hotel offered us another room to use for showering, which I appreciated, but the actual problem in our room was not fixed. It was only after several persistent requests that someone was finally sent to resolve the issue.

Overall, these issues significantly affected our stay and were particularly disappointing considering the room we had booked and the standard I expected from the hotel.

Excellent location..nice and clean.
Pros:

Room excellent.. location superb

Cons:

The restaurant staff could be friendlier.. at breakfast time a waiter knocked into me with my food going on the floor, he was rude.. didn't even stop! no apologies and I picked the food up. the guy behind the bar area helped me.

Pros:

Great location, lovely room & really friendly staff. Would definitely return.
Breakfast was amazing!

Cons:

Dinner wasn't the greatest (fish quite soggy) but staff went above and beyond to try to rectify.
Breakfast was lovely though.

Satisfying respite was achieved; sadly the M6 closed lane, accident and another vehicle catching fire led to a 10.5hrs r

Communicating with staff ensured that our needs were best met. We needed respite and our room had a splendid view of Grasmere.

Cons:

Staying for 11 days without any changes to the Dinner Menu became unexciting.
We found the very low temperature in the large lounge area uninviting. Few people used it. Consequently it didn’t encourage a sociable atmosphere or friendliness among guests.

Very nice, peaceful and enjoyable
Pros:

Lovely location, quiet and close to Grasmere and Wordsworth museum. Easy to get a bus and hike around.

Wonderful spa, and my wife enjoyed swimming in the lake.

Cons:

Food was good, but service a little disjointed in the restaurant with a variety of people coming and going and not getting our order correct first time.

Excellent wine however

انصح به جداً لمن يريد الهدوء والاسترخاء في الطبيعة
قريب جداً من القرى الاخرى
تكييف الغرفة جيد جداً
ايضاً احببت اسلوب العاملة العجوز في قسم الفطور ، كانت حنونه جداً و ودوده

لم يعجبني اسلوب سيدة من الاستقبال في الاتصال تتكلم بلهجة حادة ، نظراً لتأخرنا و عدم معرفتنا بوقت تسجيل الخروج من الفندق ، كانت تستطيع محادثتنا بشكل لائق ومحترم اكثر ، أو اشعارنا بخصم قيمه التأخير بدون هذا الاسلوب الغير حضاري
