Rude barman
Pros:

Pleasant Reception staff, beautiful lobby.

Cons:

Room was very hot and it's only May on not particularly warm outside.
Bathroom door handle broken, trouble getting in and out.
Bed lumpy with sheets that were too small and, therefore, exposed mattress.
Plus:
Drake Arms pub adjacent to hotel. Male member of staff rude and uncooperative. I asked for a damp cloth so I could wipe down table. He told me to use a napkin as that's all they had. No offer to clean it for us. I would have told him to shove our drinks order but my sister was in process of paying.

We have recently stayed in much better hotels for the money.
Pros:

The room was nice & comfortable and the service from the staff at the reception was good. We appreciated the reserved parking space. The hotel location was good for visiting the town and cathedral.

Cons:

The WiFi was interrmittent, the breakfast was nothing special and the coffee at breakfast poor. The ensuite bathroom needs to ave the bath replaced with a walk in shower.
