Transport from the airport is possible in the following way:
1. Public Bus (The Public Bus is not free, charges apply) : Direct Access from Terminal 5 to Thistle London Heathrow Terminal 5: From Terminal 5, follow the signs to ‘local busses’ and use bus 423 (I from Terminal 5). The hotel stop is called Heathrow Park Thistle Hotel (J).
2. Via Heathrow POD automatic driverless electronic vehicles which transport customers between London Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 and the Thistle Hotel in just 5 minutes. (Charges apply.)

Please note that interconnecting rooms are available upon request and subject to availability.

Lorries, coaches, and trucks cannot be accommodated in the car park due to space restrictions.

For advance purchase rates, the card used to make the booking must be presented upon arrival along with the appropriate ID.

Very nice shame that there were no lifts.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and well appointed.

Cons:

There were no lifts and we had to drag our suitcases up two flights of stairs.

Great stay pre flight, Terminal 5
Pros:

Right next to Pod parking so getting to and from terminal 5 is very easy.
Rooms were clean

Cons:

Lots of early risers due to flights can be noisy as you expect!

Get what you pay for
Pros:

24/7 staff at reception. Friendly and helpful.
Bed and bathroom clean (but see photos of - cupboards and corridors). Hospitality tray. Fridge. Slept well (room was far from party in restaurant/bar).
24/7 self-service shop with necessaries.

Cons:

***No lift*** for a hotel near the airport, people are going to have larger bags !!! Room far away (with more stairs) - felt as if it would’ve been quicker to walk to T5 across the runway!
Decor a bit tired.
Pods were out of service - the reason I chose the Thistle were the pods . Didn’t want to walk up to the bus stop at 5am so took taxi :£30!!!

Great value, so close to Heathrow T5. Used the pods both ways, an unique way to travel to hotel. Definitely stay again on our travels.
