Warm welcome in great location
Pros:

Fully refurbished since we last stayed. Spotlessly clean, brand new bathroom, tastefully decorated.
Check in was easy and we were welcomed warmly.
The location is right at the end of Bangor Pier and is ideal for Bangor and the surrounding areas.

Cons:

The only thing missing was air con, but a fan was already in the room for us, so it was no big deal.

Jolie chambre avec vue sur la jetée.
Pros:

Bon lit, propre. Bonne douche avec tous les produits nécessaires. Bouilloire avec the, café, petit gateau. Au check in la personne à l'accueil a gentiment porté ma valise dans l'escalier.

Cons:

Une fenêtre fermait mal ce qui fait que malgré le double vitrage ce n'était pas bien insonorisé. Mais c'est plutôt calme à l'extérieur.

A lovely comfortable stay in a beautiful spot!
Pros:

It is a lovely location facing the Menai Strait; the rooms felt so cozy and we felt at home. Lovely modern bathrooms. Staff was polite and attentive and the food in the restaurant exceptional!

Cons:

Hard to even say—folks should be aware there are narrow stairs to get in but the hotel is very communicative about that and willing to help with bags.

Lovely hotel with a gorgeous view of the sea
Pros:

Lovely hotel with very nice and helpful hosts. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. The view to the sea is gorgeous! The hotel is superbly situated as a starting point for all activities in the area. Parking is possible directly at the hotel. We loved to stay here!

Pros:

Wonderful view from our room of Anglesey, over Bangor Pier and the Menai Strait. The ensuite had a sunken bath, which was interesting but we were too busy to enjoy it. Staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was ok. Would stay there again.

Cons:

The breakfast had to be pre-ordered and pre-paid for, which didn't give you the flexibility to change your mind about your order.

The room had no comfy chairs. There was plenty of room for a couple of armchairs and this would have been very welcome.

They are obviously trying to go for a "boutique hotel" look and almost succeed but details, like the old flat hardboard covered doors that have a tendency to jam, let it down a little.

Perfect
Pros:

Room was lovely, clean. Fresh linen and towels. Had a lovely view to sea from window. Staff friendly. Did not eat at restaurant, wish I did as heard it's one of the finest Indian restaurants in Bangor.

Cons:

Shower was a bit small. Shower head right in middle of shower, so no option but to wet hair!!
