Very pleasant stay.
Pros:

Comfortable room, plenty of parking, nice setting, riverside nearby.

Cons:

Cons:

Very poor service at breakfast. Poor choice and had to clear our own table to sit down. Then had to ask for items constantly. Ie, glass to have juice. Marmalade for toast. Just seemed poorly organised and understaffed.

Pros:

Lovely location, comfortable bed, quiet.

Cons:

A bit old fashioned and outdated. Breakfast was slow and dinner was rushed! Creaky floorboards at night.

Pros:

All the staff were very friendly and helpfull nothing ws too much trouble.
The room was large and clean with good facilities
Good choice for breakfast
Nicely decorated throughout

Cons:

The bath is high so getting in and out for the shower was difficult even with the hand rail, as the bathroom was large it would have been good to have a separate shower.

An absolutely amazing Hotel, well worth a stay!
Pros:

We liked everything about the Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
This is a hidden gem in the countryside that's well worth a visit.
I particularly liked the Avocado breakfast!!

Cons:

We didn't dislike anything and the hotel looked like it had recently been decorated to a very high standard with an eye for detail.

Peaceful and a good opportunity to recharge the batteries
Pros:

Everyone was very friendly, although when we arrived on a Sunday early evening, there was no one to be seen. We were let in and then they were gone. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Cons:

An information folder would have been very useful, especially as no one was about. Wi fi pass code, nearest place to get a bite to eat etc.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff
Pros:

It was a beautiful property unfortunately the key system wasn’t working when we arrived but the lady on reception let us into the room with the master key. The staff were very friendly and helpful and an excellent breakfast.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike. The disappointment for me was that I wrote to the hotel to ask if I could check in earlier or use a room to change as I was going to a wedding. I ended up paying £25 early check in fee when other guests just turned up early and were allowed to check in this felt a bit steep as the hotel wasn’t full and the rooms were ready.

Traditional, luxurious and well looked after.
Pros:

I've been staying at the Hotel for approx 25 years now and this is our "go-to" hotel that we recommend and use for our clients. The staff are so friendly, polite and professional, the relatively new owners have done a fantastic job and improved all facets of the hotel. Delightful Christmas dinner with our clients and as always looked after in the best possible way.

Cons:

Only 1 thing I didn't like.....and that was having to check out and leave.
