Nice motel
Pros:

Great location to visit Acadia NP, nice spacious room, very clean, friendly staff, crab and go breakfast, but with a big variety.
Nice pool, but water was not very much heated.

Great place to stay
Pros:

Very nice old school motel. Extremely nice staff with all being very helpful. We enjoy the location being close enough to Bar Harbor without the summer time HUGE crowds the area has. Several other easy places to visit from this location with food options very near by. We would be back here anytime in the area.

A nice stay, I would return!
Pros:

The room was updated and very clean. The employees were all very friendly and helpful, making it an easy check in process. We did not feel that it was an unsafe area. I did not have high hopes for the breakfast because the gentleman at the desk pointed to a table in the lobby where breakfast would be and it wasn’t much. However, there was a bigger assortment of grab and go food than I have ever seen! Some Jimmy Dean sandwiches, breakfast burritos, Pillsbury frudels, granola bars, hard boiled eggs, cereal, toast, bagels, all kinds of juices and milk, plus coffee. There is a nice seating area that was decorated for the Fourth of July. It was perfect for our needs.

Cons:

It was expensive due to the holiday but all hotels price gauge similarly so what can you do?!

Pros:

Comfortable and clean. Great amenities especially for kids such as a pool and arcade. I liked the fact that the guest laundry was open 24/7

Cons:

The pool was very cold but my kids liked it regardless it was just way too cold for me. The bathroom sink was small so it made it hard to plug in a flat iron and you couldn't store anything in the bathroom because of lack of shelves but other than that everything was great

Solid motel by Acadia
Pros:

We stayed here the night before going into Acadia. Attentive staff greeted me. Big breakfast choices started our long day right. I appreciated being able to park right by our room. Ellsworth is a good choice for serious Acadia explorers who want to arrive to the park early.
